Can't see how it can possibly happen this year.
Factor in some teams will have 2 or 3 full blooded SL games to get up to speed before all the teams are playing just makes it impossible.
The only way it can happen is if the ladder is restarted and a new winner takes all competition starts early August.

I don't think it can happen if on top of the disruption you lose home advantage along the way.
You could still promote but the SL clubs could only be happy with a team that doesn't share SL monies.

NO!
No promotion, it just gives me to much entertainment if Leigh win the league but then can't come up.

Is it me or is the whole restart a fluster cuck?
Taken an age, no fixture list, uncertainty over P&R.

There is a fixture list and i put it somewhere on the forum.
And besides they had to give leeds home advantage.

You actually bring up a valid point there.
You have to have teams getting equal amounts of home games when fans are allowed to return, you don't want a situation where some teams are getting 4/5 games and other 2/3.
Until fans can return all games should be played at the same stadium each weekend, helps spread out the cost of sterilisation and safety, would also mean more likely hood of SKY broadcasting more games.

Can anyone really think we'll watch any games at the AJBell this season? The USA is going to send this bug round again and W Europe's opening up. Crazy. But we might, might, might get a vaccine.

I’m still holding out hope to attend a few live games in October but September would be better. The Government seems to be leaning heavily towards opening the economy and we’d be much less packed in than the pubs will be this weekend so it’s possible.

Don't bring the government into it. I always thought the RFL was bad.But Boris and the rest make them look extremely credible.

This site has no place for political views as people who love the same game have vastly differing views and it can only lead to petty bickering.
