The announcement About the Rule changes etc Put back till 23rd July which is Just 8 days before the season is supposed to Restart. Why are we not surprised about this indecision Between the RFL & Superleague they don't seem to have one Person capable of making a Single decision, And we also have nearly all the Players with Superleague contracts not happy that three clubs haven't lowered there players Wages, So we could have Superleague restarted and then the ayers going on Stroke.

The sooner we get Hearn involved the better, the continual shooting ourselves in the foot just can't go on.
I'm willing to bet that by the time season 2021 kicks off more than 1 pro/semi pro team will simply just not be there.
This is a time we need strong leadership not dithering and hand wringing.

I think Forty20 had us down as favourites to be done first.
They didn't say why just voted us most likely to fail.

I’m not surprised as we have no financial reserves but it appears Hull KR are suffering the most so far. The big teams have probably lost more in total but are better equipped to handle it. Championship teams are most at risk.

I'd love to know what the government loan has been used for so far. You might call me a cynic but i don't trust the RFL to use it wisely. You'd be surprised if the likes of say North Wales, Coventry make it through this, you can't run a club on nothing.
I can see a SL or 2 failing, worryingly I can see us being 1 of them.

I doubt we'll ever see an accounts ledger to say where the loan went and I dont think it would reveal much we didn't know or expect if we did.
RL has always been worryingly close to extinction.

We don’t own the stadium have very little back room staff and run on a very tight budget. There are others who are in a lot worse situation.

This also ocurred to me PR but I was hoping someone else would point it out, so I'm really glad you said it.

Because we run on such a tight budget the minute the purse strings are stretched something has to give.
Can you honestly see fans at games this season?
I can't as by the time we start the inevitable 2nd spike will hit, the reality of it is that RL is done for 2020 and that means for some teams it might just be done for good.

MR brighten up it’s not that bad is it ? If the the spike that was said would happen after the VE celebrations, the BLM protests and endless other ones. Not one has happened. If there is this spike everyone talks about then non of the RL clubs will receive Sky money and everyone would be fooked.

If you look at other countries who have experienced spikes it's not human driven but occurs naturally.
Not easy to be chipper when you're going bankrupt, but I'll try to sh!t out a few rainbows for you.

If not it will probably be RL that disappears professionally and not just SRD or clubs in similar positions.

If it comes round again , which is highly likely in the winter (1M globally early May, now 12M). then the last thing we'll be thinking about is sport. It'll be survival in health and finance, sadly Let's just enjoy what we're getting. And whoever is negotiating for the Championship teams (Dazzling Derek?) pack it in and let SL survive or else you'll have nothing to be promoted to. It's not SL's fault you went for broke this year and broke came up.

Would any of you watch RL if SRD no longer existed? I don't think I would.
