PP had a much better game yesterday and it was obvious he's been told to take the ball from a much deeper run, what needs to be looked at is his PTB (the whole team is terrible but he is worst of the lot), he looks lumbering when trying to get up. I know we lost (though I'd challenge to a better team) but good God how far have the mighty Leeds fallen when they play someone like there #17, honestly he looked like he'd struggle in the championship never mind SL. So after four games This post Claims that this Team is Terrible. We've had How many new players 8-9 Brought in to replace 4-5 players who Got us to the Grand Final , What did the Person who made the post And the rest of the Negative minded Ney Sayers expect?? A immediate repeat of performances from last season , We had two players making there debut on Saturday Atkin & Roberts , There first Super League game for a hell of a while. And to finish I'd like to Quote Jackson Hastings who was at the Game against Leeds He was stood on the Gantry above The West stand wearing a Sandy coloured Hoody jacket " It'll TAKE US A While bit it'll click eventually " I am not getting in to a dispute with you but I don't think he said what you enply But after four games including three at home we have two points. It's all right saying we should have done and that but we didn't. We can't keep saying we will gell eventually,it could be to late I would go as far as to say this week is a must win I said after Saturday I will be over the moon with a third from the bottom finish, but we still need points to get that. Anybody who thinks we will be in the top six, must wear bigger red tinted glasses than I do. We all have a different thought process on this forum, but we want the same thing I don't think he was being negative I think after what I saw Saturday he was being realistic, if you think differently we will have to disagree, but I hope and pray you are right.

Teams are reading Lussick too well. There is that but his darts for the line in particular have been half a yard slower and much less disguised than last year.

Yes I was saying the PTB speed is shocking, possibly goes hand in glove with Lussick not hitting his straps yet, hard to scoot and makes when the defence is back ready and waiting.

We need some simple moves near the line.
I was watching London v York yesterday and York played the ideal `face ball` near the line = its a simple move and ideal for 2 big props (PP & Seb) would be perfect.
Nashy also had his own play when he gave a reverse pass to a charging prop - Mal Yates (he sadly died when just 39) - the move gave Yates 28 tries in just 90 appearances - it was a simple yet cracking move.

[br Agree our PTB is slow, but re Joey is it a case that defences have sussed out his scoot for the line and are reacting quicker?

For two thirds of last season we had the second worst home form behind London. I’m just hoping our away form is half as good as last year.

Just watched the highlights of the game. The controversial ‘tackled in the air’ moment.... Evalds left foot hits the floor a fraction before he’s tackled. It’s very, very close but it’s floor before he’s hit. Referee in a good position and makes the right call.
Myler might have been fractionally off side when Lui kicked it. I think the rule is both feet have to behind/level with the ball when it’s kicked. If that’s the case I reckon he’s less than a stride off side. If it’s one foot then he’s probably ok.
Can’t see what the penalty is for against Dudson. His back foot is on the line and the call is played before he goes for the dummy half. I’m not absolutely sure of the rule there though. Normally it’s just back foot has to be on side. usually that’s in line with the ref but on the try line if you have your front foot forward you could be past the play the ball and on side which can’t be right. So I’m not sure whether that’s the right call or not

Will the injured players from Saturday be able to play Sunday?
Down to the bare bones if not.

Twist will no doubt have the latest but would guess that Inu, Sarge, Moose, Yates, Tyke, Brown (still 1 match to go) will be out so maybe
Evalds Sio Welham Kear Mo Tui Atkin Johnson Jones Dudson Roberts Lannon Flash Lussick Burke Seb PP

I thought Sarge was just doubtful for Saturday so he could be back. Would be good if Moose is back.

Looking like Sarginson and Mossop could be out quite a while. Absolute shambles if so.
