There are some good players in the Toronto squad and we obviously shouldn’t underestimate them. But if our pack can’t get on top of theirs and create the space for Brown, Tui, Joey and Nial to do their stuff then there will be serious questions asked. I suspect the first half will be our pack trying to pummel there’s and a fairly tight score with the expectation that the gaps will appear in the second. They move the balk well and if the passes stick better than they did at Leeds they could really challenge us though.
I know it’s a bit of a circus but I am really looking forward to seeing SBW playing at the AJ Bell. And I’m hoping he gets a proper welcome from Dudson and Yates 😊

I didn’t see their last game as I was out but I was told they chucked it about a lot rather than any creative rugby is that right? If so, even with our defence not yet at full speed we should be able to cope with that. If GOB plays it will steady them a little though. But if we throw away position and tries like last week we will lose whoever we face so need a tight first half as you say.
As for our attack, I’ve absolutely no idea what to expect because we hardly had the ball last week. A few players owe us a decent performance.

800 school children attending the Toronto game from across Greater Manchester, many of whom will be attending their very first rugby league game. We are looking at 5k+ crowd which is fantastic

Gameday, what are we thinking? After watching KR last night and seeing the results over the last two weeks it looks like it might be another fairly even season so we could do with a result today. Pressure is on slightly.
