And I'd not be starting with PP this early in the season, him coming on for a burst of 10 before the break would be ideal. How to play Ikahihifo is more of a quandary, it seems to me both he and PP are high impact players and will have similar effect, but can you afford to have 2 impact players rather than 1 and a grafter if bigger minutes are needed.

I agree MR. Yates starting at 13 and Pauli on the bench. I think him and Seb coming on at the same time against a tiring defence is mouthwatering

Pauli has been doing well fitness wise during these pre season games so I can't see us wasting interchanges by bringing him on for a short time. He'll definitely need a backrower to spell with which will be between Lannon and Greenwood you'd think

Pauli's fitness worried the hell outta me durin pre season. He looks way off. Same here. The most unfit player I’ve seen for a long time! Was absolutely blowing out of his bum hole after about 3 mins of being on the pitch, massively struggling to get back 10. Unless he makes a huge improvement in fitness I’m not sure we can afford to carry a luxury player like that. On a positive note, our squad is looking strong and I think we’ll give Saints a game.

Inu is in the 21 so I guess he’ll only play reserve if not selected. I’m not sure Watto trusts Inu in the centres. He moved him to wing last year and he was much more effective. He’s made a few errors in the warm up games. And Sio was poor defending kicks at Wire. Williams hasn’t put a foot wrong in pre-season so I wonder if he Will get the nod with the other spot between Inu and Sio. I think the rest of the backs pick themselves - evalds, Sarge, Welham, Tui, Brown I’d have Mossop, Lussick, Dudson, Greenwood, McCarthy and Yates as the starting pack And Seb, Pauli, Burke on the bench with the last spot going to Johnson or Atkin depending on whether Watto wants cover at 9 Agree with this Evalds Sio Welham Sarge Williams Tui Brown Moose Joey Dudson Tyke Greenwood Yates Ikahihifo Pauli Walker Burke stick my neck out and say Moose is fit , just been keeping his powder dry pre season, Lussick to play a full 80 and no place for Flash, Atkin nor Johnson ....

Don’t agree about Pauli’s fitness. He’s played 50-60 minutes in all 3 games. He’s looking fitter than when he came on loan and he was fine then. Watson has said he is happy with Pauli’s fitness

If Watson is happy with his fitness then it's a given really. It's a bit like American football. Pauli is a niche player with a specific role. He only needs fitness for that role in order to fulfill the teams objectives. He's not an 80 minute player, he is brought in to add impact when required. I'm sure he'll do a job for us.

Just buying tickets for tomorrow and watching the lads train.
Some observations.
PP doesn't look to heavy.
Ikahihifo is just massive.
Sarginson needs to get some sun or himself sponsored by Creamline he's that white.
Brown looks eager and is shouting the odds constantly.
And they've just sung some odd song at the end.
The overall size of the squad looks a lot bigger than last season.

Help! Can anyone point me in the direction of technology that will let me watch the game this week. I was due to be at the match on Friday but now can't do so as I'm in Brazil and Sky go doesn't stretch outside of Europe! Any help appreciated!

You need a vpn. Try Le VPN. About £5 for one month. You should then be able to watch Sky Go.

Don’t know how to start a separate subject so will stick it on here. Anyone else a bit confused with the way the fixtures have been worked out? As far as I can see, we are at home for four of the first five rounds and away for four out of the last five rounds. Add to this no home league fixture in July, seems a bit unbalanced to me.

Unbalanced, Fixtures are from The RFL says it all !!

I think in July the ground is 're-seeded' I would think the rest is either the usual chaos brought on by the RFLposdibly with issues around Toronto or the Club asking for it in order to get the bucks up front
Whichever it's awful. I wonder why the rest of the world in most other sports has a home fixture then an away fixture; baffling? Wonder why they don't use our system? 🙃🙃
