We also had the other Rhys from Warrington that played in the centres didn't we? Blonde lad. Oh and would've helped if I'd actually watched the clip.π€¦ββοΈ

Definitely Elliot Kear, That's two more Boyos from Wales Makes three With Gil Dudson I've mooted this before and got sod all reaction from the club, but with an increasing Welsh connection we need to try and have the RFL ensure we have a fixture as near as possible to Saint Davids day, invite as many welsh ex players as possible and try to celebrate, we did it for Paddys day when we have virtually zero Irish history makes good sense to try it for our large Welsh connection.

Some very shrewd business by the club. Yates has been an absolute monster all season and Williams was one of the SuperLeague top meter makers.

Just watched some highlights of Luke Yates on YouTube, wow that man's a machine, his tackling is immense and he runs like a prop.
Think he's the potential to become the next fans favourite.

Sure is a machine. Houghton had 1,259 tackles; Yates had 1,211. Third place was Isa with 971. That's some effort playing prop/loose. He'll be great at loose forward for us. Only 6 yards per carry, which is respectable.
I noticed Williams average carry is 7.74. Dixon averaged 9.16. Those London wingers sure made good yardage to start sets.

My only concern about Williams was his error rate but then I had a look and it was better than Dixon and better than one of our own (naming no names).

I think these signings are very shrewd of Blease and Watson. We're getting three guys who performed very well in a relegated side, which is a good sign. They are coming as a group and will bring that bonded togetherness into a similar environment at Salford where they should fit right in. They are very much players that Watson likes. Grafters and workhorses rather than flashy and inconsistent. Yates in particular is going to be a great signing, and I think he'll flourish under Watson.
I'm actually pretty excited about the coming season already, and can't wait to see how the new faces and the existing players adapt and change. I'm even coming round to Kevin Brown coming in. I was concerned about his injury record, but thinking about how good our physio and conditioning staff are, I think he may find that spark again at Salford. I feel sorry for him in a way because he's got very big boots to fill. I just hope the fans cut him a bit of slack in that regard. Hey, if I can do it with Brown anyone can!

I personally think with Brown if he is fit.His ability is not in question.
