Win or lose I’m going to enjoy this. My dad who now only comes once a year when I drag him down is almost giddy! He’s been talking about it all week and even looking at the clips and messages on Twitter (he didn’t even know what it was a few weeks ago)!

Anyone else been wide awake since five? Same here mate! Been so good to see how much coverage the club has had this week. Everyttime I've put sky sports news on we're on! Really hope what we've done this season can attract more folk next year. Not as nervous as I was before Wigan last week and when we walk out tonight I can see a few tears of pride. Never thought I'd see this day and just so proud of these boys and where we've come from. All the best lads, you've done us proud. #BELIEVE...

It's a totally different feeling to the relegation matches. I've always felt a feeling of doom in the week before, and even when we've escaped, it's been relief rather than anything else. This final has no downside for us, only two different levels of upside. It's a free hit, as many of us have said, and we'll be having a party whatever. I'm excited but not at all nervous. Just going to enjoy the day! My whole family and some of my best friends are coming along.

Today is the biggest day for me being a Salford fan after watching for over 40 years. I'm going with the attitude of Win -Win because even if we lose we have had the best season for over 40 years. Hopefully we have put ourselves financially secure for next year and people now know we add to Super League after some of the slagging of we've had in recent years. The one thing I hope we take out of today is the Fans who have turned up to the final can show some appreciation and come down to a few games next year. Even though it's a no lose day for the fans you never know what may happen come 6.00 pm tonight! Come on you Reds!!

It's finally just hit me on the tram down from Eccles and I'm trying not to get emotional just thinking about where I'm going! I've been so calm all week as well. Hope I can get served at the Matchstick Man as I've only had a couple and I need a couple more before kick off!
Enjoy the game everyone.
Carpe Diem.

Let's face it our ball retention wasn't the best BUT if we want a top class comp seen around the world we need top class officials. Kendal was completely out of his depth and did a Childs, gave little penalties around the ruck and missed shoulder charges head butts ball stealing continual off side. Just not up to it.
So if we want to be a world class sport import some top class refs from Oz to officiate the big games. Don't blame Kendal, sadly he is the apprentice, completely out of his depth.
But the few hundred thousand pounds we got out of it will enable us to survive another season, assuming Brown & Lolohea come off.

Yes Kendal was out of is depth he is not on is own In my opinion he refereed with fear he could not be seen to have assisted the underdog in anyway that why all the fifty fifty desisions went their way the Lolohea try they would have got or it would have gone to the screen. Kendal and his mates will kill the game if they are not careful. Now what we should be talking about the game. The best team won of that their is no question. But we should all be proud of the team they never give up they tackled their hearts out.The only down side for me was that I thought we should have varied our kicking game a bit.Now let's hope some who were there tonight cary on next season.Yes we lost but wasn't it great being part of it all.

We average 4000 a game at home - we just showed we belonged in front of just short of 65000. That will do for me.

Watching the match live then watching it later when I got home, I honestly think we were poorly done by the official, I'm not saying we would have won but we would have come a little closer than what we did. But in saying that congratulations to saints, worthy winners. As for salford, what a team, great set of lads, proud of every one of them, any other team that would of been a 60 point margin the amount of pressure put on our defence. Lets celebrate our year, loved every minute. Hope all players and staff go away and enjoy a well earned rest. As for next season we have now become a target for other clubs, this is where Ian and his staff will really earn there corn, I feel assured Ian and staff will succeed. Enjoy the break look forward to next season and hopefully a few more fans. Up the reds
