Pretty sure wigan did announce signing Hastings, they just didn’t do any VT or photos with him in wigan as he wouldn’t do it

I think the reason Jacko's signing hasn't been publicised as much as the others is maybe down to Jacko's choice. Ian Blease wasn't too happy earlier in the season when all our current players were announced holding scarves etc. Maybe it's just a bit of common courtesy to his current employer and mate?

Jacko said in a few interviews he was clear with all his suitors that he wouldn’t be doing any promo until after the end of the season out of respect for the fans, team mates and bosses

Whilst it is good to wind up Wigan fans unless a NRL club comes in with big money he is off to pieland.
He will regret it and it just shows these past weeks how much exposure he would get at a successful Salford.

clutching at straws a bit but bear with me. Hastings has an NRL clause in his Pie Eating contract so... Brisbane Broncos swoop in after the GF and offer him a deal & he never goes to Wigan. He signs a new contract with Brisbane but it includes a Salford clause. We then offer him a 2/3 year deal starting 2020. It's not beyond the realm of extreme possability.

Chang, are you still sticking to what you said? And what I was told wasn’t a silly rumour from my great aunties boyfriends dog. It was concrete info, wether what they intend comes to fruition is another matter. The club and JH want one thing and Wigan want another. |

Whatever they intend it won’t happen.
It would cost a fortune to pay out his contract.
He will bide his time till a Sydney club come in for him and he will be off.
Will be back at Salford when he gets booted out again 😀
