Seriously if Kevin Brown is the best we can do for next season they can poke their season tickets where the Sun don’t shine, has been, no disrespect to Kevin, he has been a good un, to injury prone. May be to replace Gleeson

Might as well not go to Wigan then if that’s the case. How can you sell someone and not have a replacement lined up? Hope there’s a clause in there that he can’t play against Salford this season. Absolute joke. Top five hopes gone and Leeds stay up. I don’t think this was planned or that the Salford board or coaches want to sell Lui at this stage of the season. I suspect it’s more that they can’t afford to turn the opportunity down. Why not let’s wait and see before we get all doom and gloom. The players will need our support more than ever on Friday so let’s get there in numbers, loud and proud |

Looking at from a Leeds point of view.
It will be Myler and Lui so they have nothing but a bench warmer spot for Lolohea so if the swap with Hull KR for the hookers is stalling then get them send Lolohea and pay his wages, it is the best option for this to happen ASAP and allow at least a modicum of time for the new players to bed in.

It is my understanding that Tui Lolohea will be (subject to a medical) a Salford player by the end of the day, moving in the opposite direction as part of the Robert Lui deal to Leeds Rhinos

If that is right then Leeds are idiots and we have reason to be optimistic. He has mainly struggled there because he’s been outside Myler - outside Hastings he will do ok I think. We may struggle in the kicking department though so might still need Ellis.

Is Lolohea any good? Only seen him a couple of times apart from when he played us! Was a big signing for Leeds. Leeds fans on Twitter saying his attitude is bad. Surely Watto will sort that?

Think that's a pretty good deal.
As others have said TL hasn't played outside a decent half at Leeds and now he'll play outside 1 of the top 3 halves in the league, I'd guess he'll shine, didn't realise he also kicks so again not a bad addition.
Now the questions.
Do we get him perminantly or is it just for this season and do we still get £65,000? If so shows how desperate they are.
A prediction, RL will struggle outside Myler and TL will look back to his NRL days with Hastings to pull the strings.

Yes but he’s a runner not a creator and can’t kick out of hand at all so you can see why he struggled with Myler. He needs a confidence boost but could be very good - he’s just played for Tonga which might help. |
