You’re right Chief. I was only playing on the ‘we always lose on sky’ vibe. I think the Gary Broadbent hat-trick v Saints was on sky back in the 90s and a couple of seasons back when Rob Lui announced his arrival when we pasted them So fingers crossed it’s another like one of them 😊 Fingers, legs, arms, eyes.......all crossed. May make the drive over a bit tricky though!! |

How can the ref judge that Olpherts made a play for that kick. The ball hit him and he didn't make a play for the ball...ridiculous. Not sure re the Evaldes alleged knock on either. Need to be more alert at the kicks...and seem defeated and happy to keep the score respectable. Lui`s kicks near there line need to be better. We are struggling but the ref doesn't help...AGAIN! Come on lads keep going

I don’t care what anyone says - that was a cracking effort and the score isn’t a true reflection of the game. Second half kicking was so much better as well.
Turgut was superb.

Can't fault the effort tonight and I don't think the scoreline reflected our performance.
We were on the wrong side of some poor refereeing decisions and up against the best team in the League.
I don't mind losing games like this when you can see that the effort is there.
Turgut and Hastings in particular were very good. That last ditch tackle by Jacko was amazing and typified the heart and desire shown by the players.
Olpherts could have done better for the first try, but apart from that I can't find fault.
If we play like that every week we will win more than we lose.
