I obviously can’t make it from down here on a Thursday but I’m also really nervous for the same reasons. I hate watching games and not being there - my stress level goes through the roof!

In typical we're Salford and we can't organise a p!ss up in a brewery it's been cracking the flags for days but on match day cooler with rain forecast all day. OK maybe not the clubs fault but did they try hard enough to organise good weather. I remain to be convinced

I remain to be convinced Might persuade a few hundred (those that don't need much persuading!) to stay at home/pub and watch the game. Not sure if slippery conditions will help or hinder us if I'm honest. Might nullify some of Saints slick handling but to counter that a few of our more "butter-fingered" players will probably be targeted even more with plenty of grubbers.

Agreed, it does make the short kicking game much more important, low jabbed kicks through is the call of the day.
I'd also try pinging a low bobbling KO at one of the Saints front row occasionally, might result in a knock on and keeps them guessing.

I just bought my Mrs' ticket off the website - 25 quid for the South Stand! I thought it was supposed to be a couple of quid cheaper by booking online, or have I missed something? Is it because I've booked on the actual day of the game? Contrary to popular belief, I'm not actually that tight and don't mind a couple of quid here and there, just interested that's all. Anyway, looking forward to tonight hoping for a good close game and a decent turnout.

Given we’re on sky I’ll be pleased if we keep it within 20! One of my favourite games was televised and against Saints. At The Willows in 2010. Took the lead early on and never went behind in an end to end game eventually winning 42-34. Went to the game and recorded it on Sky. Drove an hour and a half home, cracked open a beer and watched it all over again. When my sky box broke a couple of years later I was gutted to lose the recording which I must have watched twenty times......sad but true!!!

The tries don’t look all that special but it was the sheer enthusiasm and speed at which Salford started that Saints couldn’t handle. Also one of my favourites.

Then a £1.50 booking fee, then another £1 to print at home.

Lemme tried it, you're right. So the Club advertises at £20.50, sells at £22.50 but also says you save £2 which you don't
Trades Description Act violation: perhaps the Club should know!

Ah the catch is...it goes up £2 on the day of the match, even on-line.

You’re right Chief. I was only playing on the ‘we always lose on sky’ vibe.
I think the Gary Broadbent hat-trick v Saints was on sky back in the 90s and a couple of seasons back when Rob Lui announced his arrival when we pasted them
So fingers crossed it’s another like one of them 😊
