Good God when you look at this squad you realise the effect of the two new lads. Any of this 19 can feel unlucky if they miss out but for me MCB and Krasniqi will be the ones, though if I'm honest I'd have Krasniqi in before Hauraki. Can't think of a bigger Salford pack than that for many a year. I'd put BMM on the bench and start with Kopczak and Griffin and bring on BMM and Burgess to just steam roller Hudds.

Wouldn't be leaving MCB out, the lads in a right rich vein. Hauraki is our worst forward at the club and I hope doesn't get a look

I agree with MCB but you get the feeling he is on the outer, report yesterday says he's going back to the Championship next season never mind Wigan, for me the type of squad player that the club needs.

That team should beat anyone in the 8s.

See for me Jones is best utilised in the centres and Griffin slots into a wingers spot. You can then have Evalds/MCB on the wing in case of back line injury or to move back into the pack later in the game.

I did ponder with jones at centre and dropping J Griffin, but then it weakens the bench, I'm sure they'll go for 3 forwards on the bench.
Not sure MR how you fit everyone in with your suggestion of moving Griffin to the wing and having MCB / Evalds on the wing, as well as Carney.......not sure how that works.

I'd go with GOB Griffin Jones Sau Carney And then have MCB/Evalds on the bench to come on and Jones to move into the pack. We are a much better defensive unit with Jones in the centres and he's a better off loader than Griffin. |

I'd go for MCB. As already stated he's on a decent run. Brough kicked us to death in the league game because we had no pace in the threequarters

Jones def in centre. Josh G on wing. Evalds on bench. MCB to sit this one out. I'd start with kenny at hooker too.

Where was Josh Jones today ? being rested ? Don't know why we are playing Josh Griffin as he is going to hull next season
As for MCB he is definitely one to keep, he is awesome at the moment
Ps Awesome win today, best Salford team Iv'e seen since 1970.

Jones allowed to miss due to personal reasons a beleive
Great performance today, defence was awesome for that last 15 mins of first half, then to score before ht did them in.
Massive result, roll on leigh!!
