Watson said post-match that it was a tough decision to pick MCB ahead of Evalds, so it would seem that Vidot is currently fairly low in the pecking order. 100% maintain that MCB is the quickest player I've ever seen at Salford, can't think of anyone quicker in SL, Johnson and Broughton are quick but quicker than MCB? Bit of a cause celeb with me but all these reports of him moving on at the end of the season are crazy, like Evalds he's only played sporadically this season but got a hat full of tries, can see him filling his boots against Featherstone and Batley. He reminds me so much of Keith Fielding. Receives the ball with virtually no room, and in a split second he is clear of the defender. I hope that Salford offer him a new, increased contract before the vultures get him. And how great that he did this in a game playing against Damny Brough. |

The thing is with MCB considering what we will be paying Carney and Vidot he will be on peanuts and is a very good first reserve winger, the way Vidot has gone and seems to be heading he might just be a starting winger.
With Griffin going we are a back down and rather than investing in a new player we would be better of keeping a good player already on the books. I reckon you put him outside Jones and he got a full season he'd get as close to 20 tries as anyone in a red shirt has done for years.
