Could be worse I suppose, but I have some bad memories of going to Leigh in the Challenge Cup . Potential banana skin, they seem to have picked up a bit of form over the last month or so.

What a surprise, warm balls there.
We'll have to put a mate fest between the Doc and the patio salesman now.

Bloody ell....deffo a banana skin. They've had some decent results lately and seem to be getting on a roll. Wont be easy, but you would expect a win, however this is Salford and rivalry between the two always seems to bring the best out of Leigh. They will also wish to prove a point! Still...prefer Leigh away than Leeds.

Looking forward to this already! I hoped we’d get Leigh- should be a good, rough cup game. We should win but it will probably be closer than it should be.

Still...prefer Leigh away than Leeds. Definitely won’t be easy but could’ve been much worse. As long as we turn up with the right attitude we should have too much for them. There’s no way we can play any worse than last season 25-0, that was one of the worst performances for years!

Always lose at the LSV, they have also knocked us out at their place twice in the cup whilst being the division below.
The omens aren't great but lets hope we buck the trend!

Priority for me is super league survival, look what happened last season in the latter part of the season, small squad lots of injuries. This season the squad is even more thread bear. I want to win of course but it would not be the end of the world if we progressed no further.

Decent tie that. Could have been a lot worse. I'd love us to go one another cup run like last year but as gunner says, staying out of the Middle 8's has to be the team's priority.

I get that staying out of the Middle 8s has to be the priority.... but we're only two games away from another crack at a semi final, 80 minutes from Wembley. Leigh is a more than winnable game, and if we get a decent draw in the next round (Catalans, Huddersfield/Wakefield at home would do) and we're in the semis. Another day out at a neutral venue sounds good to me!
I probably sound a bit deluded, but there's nothing more I want to see than Salford at Wembley!
