So the plan is hope and pray, look at if we're achieving the magic 22 or not and spend all season being worried ....sounds sound to me! Although, if it's based on home points against sides like the Tigers .......... And does that mean the ghost of Nobby has exited stage right? Jesus. Where to start. There are probably 5 teams who are fairly guaranteed to finish in top 8, rest are in the mix. Doesn’t mean you sit there worrying, enjoy each game! We’re 2 games in. It’s a long season, relax and enjoy the ride. We’ve played 2 games against teams we lost against last season and guess what, we lost again this season. We beat cas at home last year, nobody is suggesting it’s a guaranteed 2 points but it’s more than possible. Not a clue what you mean about noble. I think that there was a suggestion that some points were gone and some were more achievable. I think you need to read the OP for the Noble bit. It's all a bit up in the air because we lack that extra bit of quality that say having Keinhorst and Ratchford would solve and these are only examples not serious possibilities - the mores the pity!

If you were talking about us getting the same amount of points as last year, then yes. But that’s not the point I was making, my point was we’ve lost 2 games that we also lost last season, it’s not all doom and gloom. I dont think anyone here expects us to finish with the same number of points as we did last year.

I think there's a few things here as most posts are not that negative after the efforts at Wakey. We all know it's early days and being in the top 8 is the essential target. Having seen the Warrior's left hand side against Hull not only was it understandable what happened to us but if Hull can adjust then any team can, if they have a good coach.
TBH I won't worry until the Million Pound Game or relegation itself.
It may suit some, and I don't want to start an argument about then and now but at this point I'd have been hoping that the rumours about MK jumping into the transfer market were correct. And I miss that!

Completely agree russ - Wigan did the same against Hull as they did to us. Completely dominated on the left wing. It all went through George Williams who has made an excellent start to the season.

The most likely outcome is that everyone will adjust to this and have a game plan based on it and the Warriors will put Williams down the right hand side backed up by Escare more often than not, especially in the big games. But one of the real tricks of what's happened so far has been the speed of their wingers on the end of it! I wish we could afford to bid for Burgess and Keinhorst!

Keinhorst would be a great signing. Unfortunately the people (idiots) that wanted MK out have got their wish and those days are gone.

But not being able to put in a bid for top players is the price of that whichever you look at his time at Salford. Keinhorst is apparently considering a move which is sensible because no matter how well he plays he always seems to be second fiddle and that's the uselessness of the salary cap as it stands at the moment.

Keinhorst would be a great signing. Unfortunately the people (idiots) that wanted MK out have got their wish and those days are gone. Crap. MK made it clear at day one that he would not be a long term benefactor, but he would help the club become self sufficient. It was always an ‘enjoy the ride’ situation, and however the idiots drove him away,it was always going to end as it did unless we started covering his losses. So,as ever,he has most people’s total respect for saving us and trying to put us on an even keel but not necessarily the way he went about it.
