1) As a fan for 40 years, I'm finding it hard to believe that this is really Salford. Can you put your finger on what has changed at the club?
2) We have a tough weekend ahead with Leigh and a rested Catalans team. Has IW spoken about squad rotation? How would you or any of your team mates feel if you were asked to sit a game out as a result?
3) How wide is Marwan's grin at the moment?

We're up to second in the table now. I am dreaming, aren't I? I will wake up soon, won't I? Absolutely f***ing buzzing!

What a result! Brilliant. I was going to post the score, but thought it might spoil your fun. What a win, though. Sorry.

Why choose? I want both!
However, if I can only have one, I'd generally prefer the SL Grand Final.
However no.2, it is almost impossible for me to get to the UK in October, but I am in the UK for the last week of August this year, so for this year only, I want the Wembley experience with Salford there!

If houghton, green and Kelly are out that's a big plus. If Dobbo has tweeted his back rest him, we've a more than capable deputy, which also means we can have 3 forwards on the bench against their big pack. I've said before, if anyone is not absolutely 100% fit, we have the squad to allow him the rest he needs. Rest him!

How many does the east stand hold? the stadium holds 12,000 and there was nowhere near 8360 seats available last night. Posted this on a previous thread mate..... West Stand (main stand) including changing rooms, media centre, hospitality boxes, banqueting suite; capacity 4,500 North Stand (Wooden Spoon Stand) – all-standing, usually the away end; capacity 2,500 East Stand (MBNA ) all seating, capacity 2,500 South Stand/The Shed (Wellsprings Stand) – all-standing, home to hardcore Reds fans; identical to the North Stand, capacity 2,500 So take out 2500 for the East Stand which was closed and that leaves max 9500 (capacity is 12000). You telling me the ground was just under 40% full?😕 Utter b0ll0cks. Between the 2 ends you must have close to 3640 before you even take into account the West Stand. I'm tempted to walk round after kick off against Leigh just to count heads as we have this same discussion after pretty much every home game!☺ I'm sure a decent photographer could get a few digital images and there has to be some "face recognition" type software that would count the heads for you.

Great team effort. Koppy n dobo stood out for me but all were excellent! Must say BMM didn't seem as lively tonight. I though saints best player was the one in the yellow shirt. I may stand corrected when see replay of match but he made some shocking decisions in my opinion. We certainly didn't seem to get those 50/50 calls. The difference now is that we don't lose our focus. In the past, the bad 50/50 calls used to really hurt us. Now, we seem to shrug them off and get on with the game. Massive change in attitude.

Three wins on the trot. Very happy. Can we make it four at Hull next week?

Thanks for organising that BGM. The posters came up with some interesting questions and Gaz matched that with his responses. It would be nice to see a Q&A with a different member of the SRD staff each month through the season. (More often than that and we'd soon run out of questions and you'd be run off your feet organising it!)

Thinking about off-field/backroom stuff, what 3 wishes do you have for SRD which would have a positive effect on our on-field performance? (Okay, I'll settle for 1 wish.) For clarity, I'm not fishing for anything that would undermine the backroom staff. I'm thinking more aspirational stuff.

Tricky draw this one. It's the first time this season we'll get to play a competitive wolf related team. Let's just hope they don't bite us on the bum. We should win and win comfortably, but this is Salford and we always seem to do things the hard way.

One real positive of this surfeit of riches is that there is no excuse at all for any player to take to the field unless he is absolutely 100% fit. Gone should be the days of players swathed in bandages and support plasters. Rotate the squad, rest anyone with even a slight injury and there should be no problems. (My fingers were crossed while typing that last bit!)

Thanks for that. Interesting answers which give a nice insight into the young lad's mindset. I particularly like his answer to the last question - as far from the mpg as possible. LOL at that!

Thanks for the pointers, everyone.
Actually, MR PMd me and set the record straight. Happy now.

As long as you're reasonably close, I don't think anybody will be in a position to challenge you. Even if they do, just claim you timed it on your own watch. Nobody can challenge that and it will be entered in History's great ledger.
