Well the Catalan coach has just been sacked, so that's a start! That's just made the task a lot harder. How often in sport do you see a big response when a Manager/Coach is fired? After what happened to us in the South of France, we owe them some pain. I'm looking for pay back. Big time!

Dixon13, you say that "Koucash has to provide the money ...". I disagree. Koucash doesn't have to do anything. He has already done plenty (good and, yes, bad) and we do not have the right to demand more from him. You need to prefix your statement with "If Koucash really wants to make a success of Salford, ...". I hope he does and we can continue to enjoy the team's performances this season and into the future.

I wonder if some of the other players have expressed concern about playing with someone who uses that sort of language? If so, the only option is to unload him.

What's your preference, Challenge Cup win, Grand Final win or both? As a Salford fan of 40 years, I can't believe I just asked that. Hope I'm not tempting fate.

What has been the single best moment for you so far this season? A personal moment and a team moment.

I read elsewhere that, providing the paperwork clears the RFL in time, he would be available for this weekend's CC game. Also that he is Toronto's marquee signing. Really?

I'm not good with this "quoting" malarkey, so this is about Carnster's post, in which he said, "Anyone who heard Andrew Voss commentate for Premier during the world cup realised how awful Sky's stuff really is." My point is that, 20 years ago, Sky's commentary was pretty good for its time. It just hasn't moved on. Which fits the mindset of most broadcasters who probably think Eddie Waring is the right man for Rugby League, we need to sign him up - does anyone have his number?

We haven't won five on the trot, yet. Just four! Don't count your chickens.

I would've said Johnson, but the way everyone's playing at the minute I wouldn't replace any. This! Absolutely! IF (and that is a bloody big if) a real star of an outside back or prop became available, then have a re-think. Otherwise, don't go chasing the rainbow - that pot of gold doesn't exist!

Reply to salfordlad1. Can our squad cope losing 3-4 our our top 17? Actually, I think we could. Take Friday's squad and add Kriss Brining, Niall Evalds, Weller Hauraki (fit soon, I believe), Ryan Lannon and the other Walne brother (Adam?). Not exactly like for like, but not a huge drop in standard, and with the team so full of confidence right now, they could probably select you or me and still win! If we lost all of Lui, Carney, Carney, G O'B, we'd struggle with our spine, but who wouldn't? We'd also struggle if we lost 7 or 8 players, but come on! Even Wigan would struggle then. So, I think we can definitely cope with even 4 or 5 injuries.

I think that players returning to the sport from Rugby Union are exempt from the salary cap for 2 seasons. If that's the case, we should be looking at Kyle Eastmond. Isn't he rather injury-prone? It's a "no" from me.
