I think you are being a little unfair, I think at present his hands are probably tied, lets cut him a bit of slack until the situation develops, then judge him.

No,I can’t believe that he did that. I don’t have a high regard for him,but I certainly don’t think he’d do that Unfortunately I do & I said at the time he started to extend all the contracts that I could see the writing on the wall, I hope I am wrong but I expect him to sell & recover some of his personnel loses. My opinion the whole re-branding issue has been a smoke screen to help his exit. I cannot believe a guy with is so called business acumen would take the history of Salford & re-brand Manchester & then claim he lost the support of the fans. I hope I am wrong, I have never been a fan of his style, however I recognize he saved the club at the eleventh hour, hopefully he will leave our club with a future not a stay of execution, fingers crossed.

I went just to see what was happening. It wasn't a few people with an axe to grind, it wasn't people just shouting their mouths off. It was a group of genuine fans worrying about the club and looking for a way forward. The presentation by the organisation that sets up RL Trusts was professional and the new organisation will be set up on professional grounds. The fact that there is already a trust, although lapsed, in place means that the new trust can move from today. Dave the guy who organised it is very open and doesn't want to take control. There was no info about our impending doom. I would advise everyone, even you Carnster, to get involved with this site and a web site maybe as a vehicle to take the club forward. I'll get details asap. About 100 turned out. Very accurate report, it was a very positive meeting discussing Salford & Salford supporters interests. I thought the meeting was handled very well, well done to those who made last night, lets spread the word.

ok i may have gone overboard a bit but im just fed up off him. The club was becoming a laughing stock because of him Players suing the club Breaking the Salary Cap (which almost cost us our super league status) Fake promises like a shop in the Lowery Centre Threatening the fans before the Hull game on sky about the name change. The guy was more interested in getting under the RFL skin than running our club. He announces the signing before the club does. Id always be grateful for him saving our club but i think from day one hes made it all about himself. like the interview the other night on Granada, hes in a reality Television show now, its stupid. I just want the Salford public to prove him wrong now after slagging off our fans for not attending. Now I wondered why I could never warm to the fellow! Thank you for the ride MK?

C’mon chaps. I’m sure the Supporters Trust fulfils a really useful function but it’s not for everybody. I’m not big on talk shops but totally respect the enthusiasm of those involved.. The silence from the club, particularly Messrs Blease and Watson is deafening. Any reassurance would be gratefully received, other than the musings of MK who has left the building Maybe they are restricted from talking?

Because? Would help if you gave a reason why Dixon!!! 11,000+ ground > 5,000 ground Parking facilities > no parking facilities whatsoever! Shared training facilities + gym on site Shared corporate facilities Shared admin staff Potentially shared physio Joint marketing staff (wishful thinking I know!) Just a few reasons why I think it would work... And yes, I'm fully aware that neither club can fill an 11k stadium but seems stupid to have 2 full time pro teams using separate grounds and facilities. Why would they want to, I like you watch both but the class of 92 have full control of there ground & are not burdened with peel holdings & other outside influences. I also liked the idea when first muted but overwhelmingly the Salford city fans were against the idea of a move as a lot of the fan base has been build from around the Prestwich area.

I cant find it now but the report I read said MK was stepping down to be replaced by a Board but the 'owner/ Parent Company' wouldn't change. If i find it I'll post the link. In my humble opinion there’s not a chance in a million that Koukash will leave his money in,unless he retains total control. My guess is that the ‘parent company’ has funded the club,so has run up significant outstanding debts and MK is looking to offload it, debts and all. If he can persuade a consortium of local businesses the share the debt he could walk away . The truth is that we have little idea how the money side has worked so I’m purely speculating, except that I’m certain he won’t leave his club to be run by others, not in his DNA Spot on Bonitared Here lies the problem, whoever takes on the club takes on a even bigger debit than the original one he said he would wipe away when he took over the club. The debit around the club has been deferred year on year making the club less attractive for any new investors. I have watched Salford since the seventies & never felt so detached from the club, this day was always going to come with MK, I just hope we have a stable plan in place for the future.

I was thinking to myself the other day the two outstanding players from 2017 were both brought in by Tim Sheens, Robert Lui, & Big Ben, I think it shows you the value of having the right contacts & a good eye for talent. I believe HKR will be one to watch next year as I am sure Tim Sheens will have already have is targets.
Not sure who we hare being linked with at the moment, the lack of detail is quite worrying & although we have a reasonable front line of players we will fall well short if we do not address the areas of concern.
Well done BMM, I believe Robert Lui can count himself unlucky, however I do agree with the final selection in the dream team at half back.

the players we've been missing (and are still missing) are all absolutely crucial players that were integral to all the good performances we put in earlier this season - Flanagan Brining Mossop J Carney Sau Dobson Koppy Take these out of any team and they would be struggling. Add this to the fact that fatigue has now set in for most of the players and it's no wonder we finding it tough to get back to winning ways. Lets hope we get some bodies back and can at least restore some pride in the 8's. Watson'a job should be safe and he should be given the chance to add to the squad and aim even higher next year. Do some fans not get it, yes we have punched above our weight, that's got to be down to the coach & the players buying into the coaching style. the answer lies somewhere between having a smaller squad than most & losing the caliber of players as above. If those players above had stayed fit I would back us against any team. Get real, we have reached the semi final & a top 4 place, when was the last time we did this? Yes we need to strengthen & yes some of the players have been over used & are burnt out, however with such a small pool of players I think we have done well. well done Bigfish good post?
