Ian Blease has been spotted alive and well this evening leaving the Barley Farm after meeting someone in there.
Was worried he might have gone with the Doc.
Wonder if it was anything to do with the new board, didn't recognise the guy he'd been meeting with.

I think you are being a little unfair, I think at present his hands are probably tied, lets cut him a bit of slack until the situation develops, then judge him.

Yes,I rate Blease.
I think his experience as an agent was important in tying the players into early contract signatures.
We don’t know what it’s been like behind the scenes,so we must cut him some slack.
As CEO,he should’ve put his head above the parapet and reassured fans and players alike BUT he might not have been in a position to do so.
This is his moment to show strong leadership

What do people expect him / the club to say 'negotiations are ongoing with a number of potential board members and an announcement will be made when a decision is reached' Don't get me wrong, it is frustrating because yet again we are the subject of so much rumour and speculation but it seems we've just got to be patient and an announcement will be made when everything is in place. on a separate note what are peoples thoughts on TrustSalford on twitter, an account connected to the new board or a fan ? |

It's in the hands of the lawyers and nothing will be forthcoming until the RL have agreed MK's plan.
I just hope when it's announced that everything can then be above board i.e. the financial state of play, debts etc, ownership and operation of the club, structure, names of those involved etc. That way the club can plan, with maybe the fans, a way forward, whether it be to struggle along, good new investment or administration.
There are around lots of people who will help and living under this cloak and dagger cloud should be no more. But we need reality and stability, whatever that may be.
If the Club goes into administration so be it, but it'll then leave the stadium, resurrect and get a new way forward. But going along in this turmoil will destroy the club eventually.
We need a strong 5 and 10 year costed plan to move forward. Castleford have gone from nearly going out of business 5 years ago to league champions by forming a plan. So we can do it.

The statement with it read 'there are lots of rumours.....' but not about the mascot surely.
