52 missed tackles yesterday whether it's down to attitudes, tired bodies or poor coaching. But since the end of May we've become the whipping boys. Got to sort that right edge out Welham ia like an old man playing there! Hope however some home truths we're told and we go on and thump cas

Beat me to it!
Welham and Tomkins were both very poor in defence last night.

9 losses in 10, top 4 and semi or not surely questions have start being asked - bit harsh maybe but coaches have lost their jobs on better records than that. Looking back to dare I say it Dixons comments on Widnes last year, it was a good job we put so many wins together in the first half of the season, feel this is going to be a long 7 games.

Look on the bright side, Astleyred. One of those 7 is done and dusted. Only 6 games to go now.

Let's face it AR Watson's plan was to get into the top 8, which he easily achieved. The top sides with much bigger squads take a full seasons approach and plan to come good at the back end. In a sense getting into the semi's didn't do them a favour as, with a small squad, they've not had a week off. They're battered at the moment, 6 of the best players out, not got too many to come in.
So we're in there, as Sheens said when he came, there's a 3 year plan, and this is the second year
Beaten 6 tries to 4 against a very strong Hull side isn't bad. Good to see Bibby in the centre with Vatuvei, and Huaraki at prop, where he might play next season. Enjoy the developments, at least we're moving in the right direction! And the two new guys look good.
Just hope MK doesn't go off the rails again.

A really good semi final rack or did you miss hat?
Perhaps you should now watch Leigh (play offs) or Swinton (no money) for the rest of the season if that's the kind of excitement you like.
I assume McCarthy and Vatuvei were brought in just to put chalk on your cue.

Lose 4 or 5 of the next 6 and it would not surprise me in the least if Koukash starts looking for a new coach. Harsh perhaps but the wheels appear to have well truly come off and judging Watson's record over the last 10 games doesn't make pretty reading. One thing with the Doc is he isn't one for sentiment and if he thinks there's somebody better I don't think he'd hesitate. Ideally if your going to change the coach the time to do it at the end of a season rather than 6 games into a new season. I just hope we aren't heading the same way as Widnes after their fantastic start last year.
It's over to the players now for one final push to possibly save their gaffers job if they think anything about him.

Nah can't see Watson loosing his job even if we lose the remaining games after the season we've had. Clearly he still learning on the likes of rotations etc but i can't see how a new coach would be brought in. Especially after the years of instability i can't see him wanting to risk further disruption. If there is a plan that has been set by Watson and co i'm 100% sure we're far ahead of it.

No way will watson lose his job i think this is down to players not performing as well as they can or certain simply not good enough

the players we've been missing (and are still missing) are all absolutely crucial players that were integral to all the good performances we put in earlier this season -
Flanagan Brining Mossop J Carney Sau Dobson Koppy
Take these out of any team and they would be struggling. Add this to the fact that fatigue has now set in for most of the players and it's no wonder we finding it tough to get back to winning ways. Lets hope we get some bodies back and can at least restore some pride in the 8's.
Watson'a job should be safe and he should be given the chance to add to the squad and aim even higher next year.

Spot on mate. I honestly thought we'd peaked to early and maybe the loss of form was actually showing where we really are. But, as you say massive losses especially flash and brining for their work rate alone.
