Expecting a big year from him next year. Will see him play from the bench. I think you're right. He seems to work well as an impact player and can do minutes when he does come on. I just hope we keep hold of our young players that look promising

Definately can not afford to lose Lui. Looks like he needs an op on that knee but the pre season is the time if he needs it. He's been a good signing. I think most of the big signings have come good. Vidot hasn't set the world alight, Burgess? I'm not convinced. Carney hasn't been given the service but when fit had made a lot of yards, which traditionally the forwards made. I'm all for the wingers taking a bit of work of the forwards but they also need to score tries and any team doing they're homework could predict how we play out a set

I hope the rumour of Junior going to Wigan is a load of rubbish. I'd rather watch him in any shirt than 'cherry and white' or if you're not Ray French 'a Wigan shirt'. He seems to like the club and we definately like him. He won't get much praise from the Wigan fans. The lad doesn't play for praise but he does thrive on it. Why else would he spend so long with the fans doing pictures and such after matches? Koppzcak does the same. Might have misspelled his name. It's a weird one. Either way, he's played a blinder this year and although I'd be ill if he moved on, I'd wish him nothing but the best

AFAIK Carney has 4 year contract & Vidot 2. 4&2? I thought it was 2&until stone cold Steve Austin needs a sparring partner. Vidot has been a waste of money. Not all his fault as he ripped a tit but everyone's recent favourite punchbag Johnson has had a better season. Vidot probably will be better next year but he'll be Lobby gobbling, tongue firmly in cheek

Just read that back. He's not actually from Leigh or a rugby fan as such. He happens to have moved there. I've no idea why, I don't care. Mates are mates and my rugby team is my team and I'll stick with them until I'm in my box

That game would mean more to watto if that's what we're calling him. He played for us for years and he's one of our own. Even if he wasn't a Salford lad we would have adopted him for what he did as a player. Rated him as a scrum half and I think he'll make it as a coach. With or without Sheens. He must be gutted. He won't even be able to poach the decent players cos the only wage they would get from HR is a bag of peanuts in comparison and I'd rather starve than eat them

Well he must be suffering from eighteen fingers disease cos neither him or sheens could beat Gaz yesterday. I'm on about him again but I played full back(amateur level, I realise it's not the same) and it can be a lonely place. The game has changed since those happy days but considering he came as a stand off, he's been a revelation. I like the 3 half backs routine. Look back at our tries this season, Dobbo to Lui,Lui to O'Brien, O'Brien finds the centre/winger to score. When that combo clicks it's great to watch. (Not my words but that of a mate from LEIGH)

We're gonna win the league!!! [b No we won't. I'd gladly give an arm to do so. On another note I hope all the reds got back safe and sound. The Hull fans were hunting in packs. S*ithouses. Have a look on youtube. One fella is so hard he can kick somebody in the back of the head after his mates have beat him up. I know we're no angels but they are a joke. If FC, I won't call them fans but them lot are reading, you were a disgrace. I know it was both sides but what I've seen speaks for itself. And the woman punching blokes, your kids must be proud

How do you think we'll go next year? I know we don't really know how the side will look yet but assuming we replace the outgoing players with decent players and keep the nucleus of the team I reckon we could do well. The points deduction really put the skids on what was shaping up to be a good season. The players head's dropped for a few weeks and we lost games we may well have won so the real cost of the six points could have been ten or twelve meaning super eights and not MPG.

I'd give him a run at centre next year. He may be the ideal replacement for Josh Griffin without taking a big chunk of the salery cap to bring someone in. We'll still need cover with Caton-Brown on his way as well. We could possibly bring in a youngster as cover with the prospect of him taking Junior's place when the time comes. I'm not saying I want him gone, I rate him but he won't be able to play forever. I think he'll probably start slowing up maybe three seasons time.

Hello one and all. I haven't posted on here before but have been a regular reader of this forum for a good while. I feel the need to post now because I cannot begin to describe my elation at the result of the MPG. I am sorry to say I was one of the people invading the pitch but having a tear up couldn't have been further from my mind. I was gripped by a steward and offered to leave by my own means but he felt obliged to ask another steward to help him march me out and then pushed me into a bunch of KR fans presumably hoping I would get a hiding. Luckily for me the said fans patted me on the back and congratulated me on our result. Which is commendable. I only ran on the pitch out of emotion as I'm sure many did. I've been watching Salford for twenty five years and have never been involved in any trouble at rugby and don't want to see it.
Marwan has posted on twitter that we're not getting our £1M. My question is did last years winners get it? If there's no 'tayter hash' why is it called the million pound game? They should call it the most rubbish form of relegation game. I feel for the Hull KR mob(a bit, admittedly not much) to get relegated like that is cruel. Fair play to Gaz O'Brien though, I've been raving about him all year and yesterday he wrote himself into history where I'm concerned. I hope we can build on this and go on to great things. The turnout proves that despite the RFL wanting to see Salford relegated(my opinion), we can turn out in force and on our day can beat anyone in SL. While I'm on the subject of the RFL, this is the same authority that allowed a club chairman to also be their chairman. Conflict of interest? Bent more like. I won't name the club but the chairman in question was called Maurice
Anyway, I've had my say. I'm sure I'll have another now I've set this account up.
Big love to all the devils
