Great win today. Bring on Wigan next week. Hope loads of Salford fans will be there. I'm coming from Gran Canaria to watch this one, so get down there everyone.

And no ban for the awful scrunch (pressure on the neck) challenge on O'Brien, straight after he had been clobbered in the face off the ball, that lead to Brierley's try and then Carney's sending off. O'Brien not fit to play tomorrow, presumably through those two challenges. And yet it's a Salford player that gets sent off and charged!

Just seen the attack on O'Brien that started this whole saga. It was a very late, very high attack to O'brien's head. Should have been a straight red card. Not even a penalty, and no repercussions for the Toronto thug that committed the offence. The disciplinary is a disgrace.

I think that we need to give the team a big rap for the effort. After Friday, after which some players struggled to get out of bed, they played in the French heat with 2 players down so limited chance to be spelled. They gave their all. Tasi,Griffin,Walne,Kopzcak,Krasniqi and , not least, Flanagan were completely knackered at the end. Thank you Agree 100%. The players gave their all and then some. Not their fault that they were still kna****** after Friday whilst Catalans were resting up.

'Take a friend' game. Someone who has never been before. I'm taking 3 newbies to the Grand Final. Hope Salford will be there as well.

I guess I may well have been watching the game for a lot longer than you, mate. I have been watching Salford for 62 years, first watched Salford in 1954, surely you can't be older than me. Ok Scoot. I'll give you that one. My first memory was a game at Central Park in 1967 when Frank Collier got sent off. So 50 years for me. Fair play to you. My Dad can beat you though. His first game was in 1929 and I still try to get him to at least one game a year. But just back to that topic, can't say I have ever noticed a team 'plod back' into the line quite like Salford did against Saints.

Yes, you are right about this. During the Saints match, one of the commentators spotted that the Salford forwards were out of gas because they were walking back after a Saints kick through. I think it was Terry who commented that the Salford backs were bringing the ball back to the forwards to give them a breather. As you say, very clever. Bloody hell mate, we have, as well as all the other S.L. teams, been doing this for years. Don't you watch the game ? I guess I may well have been watching the game for a lot longer than you, mate.

I think Logan put in a real shift on Friday too. Unless I missed it, I don't think he was substituted until somewhere around the 60 minute mark, and he was back on shortly afterwards. I think some of this might be down to the way Ian Watson "rests" players during the match. For the first couple of tackles following a kick downfield, the drives are taken by the outside backs, thus resting the forwards. Similarly, the acting half-back role is sometimes taken by Gareth O'Brien or Michael Dobson while Logan is still on the field. All very clever. Yes, you are right about this.
