Any business would at least give a plan with time lines showing when things could happen. To go completely silent is the most idiotic thing to do. The Supporters Trust seemed a nice group of people but they appeared to have a cosy group tied up (Shirley took over with her tweets apparently) and they seemed to be concerned with making donations and supporting the Foundation. Can't at this stage see them to be a force in getting the Club moving; seemed low on ambition, but we'll see. I didn't see a cosy group I saw people trying to get something going. We have a get together with Watson the coach and other guests later this month. If you have paid your tenner I am sure you will get an invite.

I didn’t see a cosy group at either of the two initial meetings and I have received my email with details of the event later this month. I have just printed off my ticket and look forward to the event. I am confident that the new Supporters Trust will work very hard to improve the relationship between the trust and the club. And I am not a board member but will support them to the best of my ability.

Think people have the right idea of the supporters group, unless Messrs Gates & Mus have signed up can't see them having the type of saviour clout we'd all love. I can never make the meetings so haven't signed up but obviously wish them well, I also do have reservations as to the handling (not the end result) or the whole name change/rebrand meetings, letter and press releases. I still say local political or council representation on the board would add much needed firepower and get the who entity more opportunities to get a foot in the door with the club.

Sadly nice people but they seem to use want to support the Foundation as it used to do. Needs to have bigger ambition but we'll see. There are a good number of influential people support the Club but if it keeps at that level they won't get involved.
But we'll see how things progress.

I still want to know who is deciding which fan is on the new board of directors, sadly if they are hand picked they will surely be a yes man.

You can't betray confidences but there are people who could help. Well the ST has started so it'll be good to see what it's aims are and how ambitious it is.

Now MR you see the problem in print via Dixon.
Dixon I did go to both and paid my dues. And people will help but you have to possibly go about it in a slightly different way than you do.

More than ever I believe the fans need to have a strong voice, the tone of your message still appears to suggest it will be too much of a click to do any good, there will always be those who look for different motives, lets give the forum a chance, at the very least fans continue to be informed & can discuss issues & topics. Right now I have more confidence in the supporters forum than in the steward of the club!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the new fan trustees (Not the club trustees that we don't know about yet) just a re-brand of Forever reds? With the same goals and interests?
The Club had very little to do with forever reds when it was up and running, so I fail to see what will be different this time. I'm not having a go at forever reds or the new version btw, I'm just a little confused about why so few had any interest in forever reds at the time, but all of a sudden it's the future. Am I missing something here?

It won't be you.you can't get to meeting's There you go, a reply that typifies what was disliked about the rename/rebrand group and it looks like the same attitude and people are running the ST. To clarify why couldn't make the first two meetings I was away at the time both were held.

Hi guys being positive, there is a ST which is moving forward.
The way the temporary board was set up, via a private tweet, bothered me as did the way a select group of people, at the front of the meeting, seemed to all be set to take over. Additionally at the second meeting the Foundation gave a good but totally inappropriate presentation ( as the meeting wasn't about that) and finally it was proposed that £2,000 in the existing accounts went to the Foundation. Why! Because the Foundation needs money!! Strange.
My feeling is that if the ST is have any real value it should not be a vehicle to fund the Foundation, as before, but should be ambitious to totally assist in the redevelopment of the Club. So as you say guys if it becomes open and ambitious with some new blood people will join, if the closed shop exists it will remain as Forever Reds did.
You pays your money and takes your choice.
