It won't be you.you can't get to meeting's There you go, a reply that typifies what was disliked about the rename/rebrand group and it looks like the same attitude and people are running the ST. To clarify why couldn't make the first two meetings I was away at the time both were held. Bingo! My feelings also MR, I'm willing to see how it pans out from a far before handing over any cash or getting involved.

If anyone doubts my love of Salford I did say I would be willing to offer over the usual fee for my season ticket the right structure was in place and guarantees on what it would be used for. Think there would be others would would assist in this way if only the club were more transparent on it's current situation and what exact help is needed. If the club would have been proactive in this manner we might not have had to sell our most valuable playing asset to a bitter local rival against his wishes.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the new fan trustees (Not the club trustees that we don't know about yet) just a re-brand of Forever reds? With the same goals and interests? The Club had very little to do with forever reds when it was up and running, so I fail to see what will be different this time. I'm not having a go at forever reds or the new version btw, I'm just a little confused about why so few had any interest in forever reds at the time, but all of a sudden it's the future. Am I missing something here? Forever Reds was still going when Koukash first landed he said he did not need any help.It seems the new set up does we will have to see what help they need.

Difficult one, this. I’ve not renewed yet. If you cut through the justified but emotional crap, what it comes down to is
Will I lose my money, because the club will go under ? Will I save money by waiting ? Will they extend the deadline? Even if they do,how will that effect the other two points?
So,logically,I should renew because,as much as anything,my club needs the money.
So why haven’t I ?

My feeling is that if the ST is have any real value it should not be a vehicle to fund the Foundation, as before, but should be ambitious to totally assist in the redevelopment of the Club. So as you say guys if it becomes open and ambitious with some new blood people will join, if the closed shop exists it will remain as Forever Reds did. Forever Reds was not a closed shop – it’s against the constitution to be. However, personally, I agree with you that the supporters trust should go further than assisting the foundation. It should make some demands on better communication, have a say in the process of who is selected as the fan on the trustees, and look towards registering the stadium as an asset of community value (if it isn’t already). As members, we can suggest these as motions and they can be voted upon. If it passes, the process happens. If it loses, it loses, but at least you have exercised your vote and had your say.

That is a point that worries me but I have not raised on here, doubtful as I can't see the Doc letting everyone think he's upped sticks and left us that deep in the mire that we died pretty much straight away. I see him having further involvement with RL down the line and it would hinder his chances if it did transpire like this, having said that though this is the RFL we are talking about.

Hallelujah.
after weeks of asking the club finally deigned to answer and confirm the the early bird offer ends at midnight.
Such short sightedness from the club is so frustrating but unfortunately par for the course.

nope: your logic is incorrect as it's not YOUR club but belongs to some trustees that MK found in a corner shop in Seoul who wanted to move in case that city is attacked.

He said he was handing it over to the community so I’d assumed it was partly my club but you’re quite correct,he didn’t say which community,so Seoul ford it may be

Little tidbit from Twitter just now with Gaz Carvell revealing he will not be in the employ of Salford from December. Hasn't expanded on it so not sure whether his decision or the new board / Koukash but possibly further indication of cost cutting..?

At first when I read this I thought that will be something to do with him launching the players welfare doo-dat again, but when you read the Tweets in context there is nothing good comes out of them. Think it is 100% a case of getting rid rather than him leaving. Worrying, worrying indeed.
