Bought my season ticket but if you just want not to hide from reality then do so.
And tell me why the euphoria, even from losing at Warrington, has come down to buying 2nd rateplayers and letting our player of the season go? I'm like lots of people disappointed because the man with the money has thrown the towel in when we were potentially on the crest of a wave,
Perhaps I'm on the site to put reality ie lots of people not buying season tickets as opposed to your stupidity. Ie using lots of words but saying nothing factual.

If you do not want to renew your season ticket. And do nothing but whinge on here about the club. WHY THE HELL ARE YOU ON THE SITE ?? If you have nothing good say dont say it and sod off, this is why Scarlletturkey was shut down. Sick of coming on here and seeing nothing but doom and gloom from some people. I know we are all entilted to our own say so , but for gods sake give it a rest, and support the club. If you don't want to sod off. Oh diddums, I come on here in the hopes it's all a Bobby Ewing type dream but no matter how many showers I take it still doesn't change the facts. We've been lied to about the board. Have lost one of our best players. Have released 2 excellent young prospects. I know you don't like my posts but if you're going to have a pop try getting your facts right. I want to renew my season ticket but won't do so until it is clear on the make up and structure of the board, my gripe is the club is incredibly remiss to put a time limit on the early bird deal until the nitty gritty is sorted. As for me being on here just ignore me, if you want though you can invest your time next season in running the prediction league and offer a prize.

MR I'm with you. Why the club can't explain the situation with a holding statement is beyond me. MK is supposed to have a world class management company and all the management courses say 'in times of change, keep the troops informed'. But nothing, so sadly they reap what they sow.
Some people know and have met board members but what have we had ......A New Dawn... what the f👹k does that mean. They treat the fans like idiots. Now we have adverts all over Salford to buy a season ticket...what are they buying into...come on IB you keep saying you're the CEO, so act like one....inform and people will buy your tickets.
When I bought my ticket I asked about sales the answer was; poor and disappointing. Sorry not a number but confirms what people think about the situation.

Ok, what do you think 'poor and disappointing' represents as a number? It's interesting that you've picked up on 'adverts all over Salford'......we've been crying out for this for decades.....isn't this a sign that the club are trying harder? As far as I'm aware the successful drive for advertising has come from the Trust board not IB.

I'd like to add, which other business discloses its restructure intentions to the general public-especially if it isn't concluded yet? It is a very poorly run club and a very badly run business, from the signing of the stadium rights to the day to day marketing and revenue. My hope is that we get a business man in who knows how to run the club rather than having a hobby and can take us forward off the pitch. It is uncertain times and information is scarce and I agree the lack of details is worrying.

Agreed the adverts are really impressive and hit a massive target audience, they would have been much more effective as a marketing tool if the club was mentioned on them.

Yet another message this morning “3 days to get your early bird offer before the prices go up” I don’t give a crap about a early bird offer what I care about is if we are going to have a club to watch next year. No news on the trust, no confirmed signings. I will get my ST when I know what is happening.

No news on the trust, no confirmed signings. I will get my ST when I know what is happening. A simple solution, they make an announcement to say anyone wanting to pay in the week following the confirmation of the board gets it at the EB price but must be paid in 1 lump sum, I'd be more than happy with that (assuming the board isn't a few market traders and the local paperboy). Just hope there is someone on the list who is a real business man/woman as I don't consider either Koucash or Blease to be competent ones, who will point out that the club is a leader in it's field, sadly that field is how to alienate your fans with monotonous regularity.

Trying to put emotion to one side and view things reasonably this is how I see things at the moment:
Pros:
We still have a club in SL going into next season. We have a settled squad of players that have been together a while now. Salford is back on the badge. Salford fans trust up and running.
Cons:
Poor communication from the Club. Poor timing of the power transition within the club. Lack of clarity over many issues. Impact of the above on season tickets and attitudes of the fans. Shaky financial situation of the clubs future. Inability of the club to captilise on our best season in decades.
It's hard not to be highly sceptical of everything Salford at the moment as the clubs communication with the fans is dreadful and I'd be lying if It didn't concern me. Will things work out? Maybe. Are people concerned over nothing? Maybe. I understand why people get fed-up with what they see as doom-and-gloom and wish that others would be more positive. The difference here though is that those 'negative vibes' are completely justified at this stage based on what we really know.

Any business would at least give a plan with time lines showing when things could happen. To go completely silent is the most idiotic thing to do.
The Supporters Trust seemed a nice group of people but they appeared to have a cosy group tied up (Shirley took over with her tweets apparently) and they seemed to be concerned with making donations and supporting the Foundation. Can't at this stage see them to be a force in getting the Club moving; seemed low on ambition, but we'll see.

Lets give the club the benefit of our doubt, the clubs transfer of ownership is at a very delicate transition & both parties are unable to give any statements, it happens? Other than this there could be no other possible reason you would not want to promote the early bird tickets sales, by selling the club & the future of the club. I for one will not renew until I have clarity of the ownership & depending on what comes out I will still go but will pick & choose & not renew my season ticket if MK is sat pulling the strings, I love my club but I am fed up of the circus around the owner, before you tell me we would have no club, we would always have a club but not at the level we are at now, maybe we need to get real & accept we should be at championship level & start to build the right infrastructure with a board who sole interest are the good of the foundation & the club & not his own ego.

There are a number of issues here.
1. "2nd rateplayers": I heard that we were getting a Dale forward and so looked at them. I wish we had moved for Hadden as he knows where the try line is and is 27 so coming into the traditional peak period for a forward. He is a gifted player. However when I found out it was Bennion (I assumed that Taira and Tahraoui would cause issues as from abroad: both, again, are good players), I spoke to an ex-Dale player who attends every match and is involved with the club. He assures me we have a big hitter in Bennion. Furthermore, I argue that calling anyone a 2nd rate player is not a false assumption but highly insulting when you have not seen the person play for a few weeks. Easy to be an internet warrior.
2. So we do not know what is happening: so what? We never have since before leaving the Willows. It's Salford. It drives me nuts and I wish I had taken up something less stressful like shark-tickling or attacking Ghurkas. The club's DNA is one of frustration, of hidden agendas and of opacity. The fact is that my mum dropped me in Salford so I have stayed loyal. I was not born in Wigan or Leeds or Warrington or (sob): I will criticise but I want to directly speak to the club. There's a fine line between whinging and complaining. The latter can get things done. So
3. Watson is at a meeting at Old Nag's Head in Irlam at 5pm on Sunday 19th November which has been organised by the Salford Red Devils Supporters’ Trust. Let's put the issues to him. It's going to be tricky for me to get there but, at least after the page in League Express, I want to.
Yes, I've renewed.
