Agree when we made the top 8 I was with you, watch a few new guys turn up and top 4 again. Now we're losing 4 of our best Dobson, Walne, Tasi and Ben and replacements from the lowest league.
One day, one day .....stability ...... probably not

For me;
Dobson - biggest loss will be the hardest to replace
BMM - not too fussed would've rather him stayed but life goes on and he was a passenger for the final 2/3 of the season
Tasi - is only a rumour and nothing else
Walne - wasn't one of our best, good squad player nothing else

Weird the world we live in. A good player we are on the verge of leaving through no fault of his own, is no longer good enough for us anyway. Latter end of the season the moves were changed to make him the dummy runner to attract the opposition so giving the room for the centre wing combo to operate. It didn't work but that's not is fault, he's still a damn good player
Strange how Salford can announce the beast is playing for Tonga but no mention of bmm
Lets face it we are now in the process of downsizing, its up to mr blease to get us players in that we as supporters can rely on to keep us up, no more no less
That is if the rugby league is going to suspend promotion, relegation
We need quality player's.

Come on has anyone actually said he was shite, he's just been picked in the SL dream team. Our sugar daddy financial backer has just said he's stepping down so we have no funds to purchase players to replace who have left / leaving. We've had to sell an asset to enable us to facilitate replacing the players mentioned above, yes if we have ambitions and desires to build on this seasons fantastic efforts I do not want him to leave as we should be building not depleting the current squad. But disapointingly we are now not in a position to do this, life must move on just like Cas (and the fans) did when they sold Rangi and Clarke. We just live in hope the IB and IW can make some astute signings with the funds generated just like Cas did.

Someone on Twitter is claiming that it wasn't Ben's choice to leave Salford and that he's gutted to have been sold.
I just hope that any transfer fee involved will be reinvested in to the club. We're thin on the ground as things stand so we need to bring in some quality replacements.

I imagine he doesn't want to leave, I hope he gets the respect he deserves on his return loved watching him in red probably the best forward I've watched at Salford in 25 years.

Think that's horrible, you'd think that if there is an investor coming onboard they might personally pay BBM's wage rather than get rid of one of our greatest assets and strengthen a rival.

It could be he wants to see us in the championship with Leigh. Then he can have banter with is mate.

MK has stated that Watson wants more players in the squad ( although strange at the moment) and the way to do this is to have more players on lower wages.
So there is a choice. 1 Ben or 3/4 other players. Ben's been generally fantastic, sometimes a bit patchy, but he is a big guy with dodgy strapped up knees. Might just make good economic sense.
Alternatively we may have little money anyway and therefore it's a necessity.
Sadly we just never have the numbers through the turnstiles and so don't generate enough. I think MK went a year too early though as we were on the way forward, at last and another year could have seen the breakthrough.
