I'm still not convinced he is as wealthy as everybody makes out. He certainly doesn't dress like a rich man, and I've only ever seen him drive older vehicles.

For me, it's not that BMM has gone. We knew it was likely that the club would have to balance the books with Koukash stepping back, and the losses that we can see in the accounts.
What saddens / angers me about this is the total lack of professionalism shown by the club, again. They will try to bleed every penny out of the fans, but didn't report BMM's departure, and only commented after Warrington had announced it. For me, this just underlines the fact that the club hierarchy see the fans as a commodity, rather than an integral part of the club. If their plan is for long-term financial stability, the last people you want to piss off are your customer base. Still, what do I know?
Will we miss BMM? Who wouldn't. Are we suddenly relegation material? No, but if the club doesn't find good calibre replacements for BMM and Dobbo (and I don't mean grafters) then I think we will struggle. My concern is that the obvious belt tightening that is going on means that that looks less likely. Anyway, I live in hope.

I wonder if he'll go myself, read the article and you get the impression family and camaraderie are important to him and he seems to have adopted the NW of England.
That said I hope he does go as can't stand the prospect of are Ben playing against us.

Warrington CEO started denying rumours Ben returning to Auss on a huge contract. If we hadn't sold to Warrington he'd probably be on his way back home, so might have been good business after all.

Perhaps this is my evil mind working overtime, how about this for a scenario, just to upset all wire fans.
Ben's agent agrees a deal with Gold Coast(as rumoured) and instructs Ben to stay in Aus, at the same time the Doc gets his way and becomes the new owner of Gold Coast(as rumoured).
Can you imagine the uproar.

Doc is and never will go anywhere near Gold Coasts or any NRL team for that matter. The NRL will simply not allow him a takover with such poor finnicial history.
