FWIW
The announcement the other day has saved at least one (and I'd guess countless) season tickets for next year as I had all but resigned myself to not having a club to follow.
Do I trust the Doc? NO, I thank him and want nothing but the best for him but deep down I don't trust him. I think as has been said he had the right to look at all possible options but think the method he did this was inept (his and Bleases fan shaming was nothing short of disgusting) and not how you would expect a businessman to conduct himself.
What I'd like to see is Koucash and Orange go into joint ownership, will that happen? Doubtful.
I think with the right investment we will go into next season as strong as we have for decades, all I hope for is that the drama stops, the constant foot shooting ends and Salford becomes a byword for going under the radar.

There have been numerous times when there has been messages from those involved with the club questioning the fans loyalty for not turning up. |

There have been numerous times when there has been messages from those involved with the club questioning the fans loyalty for not turning up. Thanks for that,I have missed couple of matches due to holidays previously booked before fixtures came out,matches changed at short notice and family commitments but I didn't take offence at the those comments that came out from the club. As other people have said previously the communication from the club can and should be improved as soon as possible and with the long standing fan and who has been told that he is not welcome an organisation that I belong to had a similar occurrence and people made contact with the aggrieved party,arranged some discussions and dialogue and after a time this person returned,the club should try this for starters. |

Any idea on when the new badge will be released? I wonder if it will be the same one but with Salford incorporated on to it.

All roads lead to how can we get at MK this week though boring and at this juncture totally unnecessary with a lot of half the story smoke and mirrors as paper thin evidence. I also thing that most of the criticism from the club has been at the people of Salford for seeming like they don't want an RL club rather than the fans who turn up week in week out. It all seems a bit like reading the Sun, with various attempts to dramatise a story that was more or less made up in the first place. Did you like the meeting in the church and the last rites for the club that much you can't wait to do it all again? We all get it, you don't like MK so there's not much discussion fodder for the forum, so time to change the record! I'm so glad it'll still be Salford and with a few decent signings I'll be happy on all fronts right away. |
