If the alleged comments were what I heard then you Ayres Rock are very much mistaken about 90%, I know most of my family and friends would not say what he did as they are normal decent human beings. I'll await an apology anytime you feel like offering one.

It looks like Toronto are lining up Prop/Second Rower Ukuma Taʻai from Huddersfield. That's in addition to Ashton Sims and Josh McCrone!
I'd like to have seen Salford put in a cheeky bid for Ta'ai.

We were close to signing him the start of last season but he chose to stay at hudds at the last minute, hence us signing Phil Joseph instead.

Ive noticed a few people say a few times that we have an overseas spot available. Where has this come from? Surely Hasson took Carney's spot because he is Non Fed trained despite being born in the UK? Can somebody clarify please?

The rules have been simplified this season to just non-fed trained players and have ditched the overseas ruling. Each club is allowed 7 non-fed players. Ours are: Sau Lui Hasson Carney BMM Tasi I have a feeling Dobson and Hauraki are exempt as they were based here before the rule changes (I could be wrong here though) Hauraki was certainly exempt when we got him as he came from Crusaders who folded and we were given an exemption for him. So the answer is, we may have one spot depending on exemptions. The RFL are allowed to grant exemptions if a club puts a decent case forward as to why.

So when Hasson gets charged by the authorities for impersonating a RL player will will possibly have 2 spots left? If we can go back in time and get Big Ray and Red in their pomp I'd take us for the league leaders shield next season As for Tai never seen what all the fuss is about, always looked like a run of the mill forward, much better running around as a fringe player in the NRL I'd much rather we tried to sign.

I've done my best to put this episode out of my thoughts, so thanks for that! With all the good news I can't wait to see who they've got in mind from outside the club! "This again signals our intentions to bring in and keep top quality at this club."
