Just enjoy it guys. We didn't expect it so everything from now on is a bonus.
I hope our leaders have faith, see the progress both on and off the field and see this as the start of something special. 5000 Salford speccies and Wigan still have tickets left. Now that is special.

I'd love to Michiganred, but I live in Gran Canaria. Might have to listen to Ray, er French on the radio! However, got all flight timetables and accommodation ready for 4.30 ish this afternoon. Don't think I've ever felt this nervous. Somehow banked 4 hours kip, still feel sick. Weirdly enough I feel the exact opposite! I don't think anybody expects us to win after each club's respective recent turnarounds in form and we can go out there without the favourites tag we would have had a month ago and give it a real dig. Surely all the pressure has to be on Wigan? If we win I think I may blubber like Gazza at Italia 90 but even if we lose then all I pray for is that we do ourselves justice. Enjoy the game guys and let's recreate that phenomenal atmosphere from our last visit to the HJ and show the world that pound for pound we're the most vocal fans in Rugby League! |

Ouch. That was really hard to take. Thought we gave them a really good game and on another day we'd have won. No shame in that performance because the players gave it their all. The most comforting thing is that we aren't that far away from becoming a tour de force in Superleague; we've already proved the doubters wrong this season and long may it continue.
