Let's not get too carried away because things can change very quickly in sport as we have witnessed this year. Are we possibly riding on the crest of the Tim Sheens wave? Yes let's acknowledge that Watson has done a very job so far but the real test is when fortunes change and you have the fans and the owner on your back and a team lacking in confidence. A good example of this is Karl Harrison who went from hero to zero in the space of a few months between 2006 and 2007. Another example in sport is Claudio Ranieri at Leicester City. Let's keep it real because the more Ian Watson gets bigged up the more pressure it adds with the potential for a bigger fall. I think we need to attribute our present form to everyone's contribution so far this year from all the backroom staff and all the players. Spoken as a true Salford fan... Joking aside, you make some valid points.

Yes looks good S&M RED DEVILS. Opens up a whole new clientel Yes! Just think of the merchandising opportunities. Studded leather belts and restraints, chokers, whips. What on Earth would the club shop look like? Sponsored by Anne Summers, free jar of lube with every season ticket! I may have thought about this too much....

Actually depending on your proclivities buy a season ticket or you don't get the cane
