For what should be a cracking top 4 clash. The football season will be over and with no world cup or Euro championships this summer, it'd be a good chance for the club to make the most of it and try and got bums on seats.

I've noticed a lot of pubs in different parts of Salford with our full home fixture list on posters, think tonight is huge thanks to the great gesture I think we will get about 6-7k hopefully the boys put a good show on and we can retain some of this support for the rest of the season.

It's confirmed as being shown by Sky on the 9th on their live games listing. Wow! 2 games in a week. Are we the new Warrington? π

I'm sure sky will jump on another bandwagon if our form dips I know they are. It's not stopped Sky televising nearly every game they've played this season. I think there's only 3 of their games in all competitions that haven't been on so far.

That was a tongue in cheek remark on their season so far while I think we're all enjoying ours

I thought Josh was pants last season. Apart from his heroics in the MPG, he had, unfortunately, become a bit of a liability. Too often his passes to his winger ended up in the hands of the ball boy rather than the intended target. He also started crabbing across the opposition defensive line quite a bit, basically going nowhere, and even, on a couple of occasions, got tackled into touch because of it.
A shame, because prior to last season he'd been a good servant to the club. Still, he's gone now, and the club have applied the Tim Sheens maxim: if you lose a player, make sure you replace him with someone better. And, in Kris Welham, I think we have. Much better. I think Kris is one of the reasons we're seeing more of Greg Johnson this season.

I feel really sorry for Josh because it seems to have all gone sour for him at Hull. One person has even suggested they signed the wrong Griffin. I think he means they should have signed Nick, but they're too late. We released him and he's gone to Hull KR.

I've got little or no sympathy for him tbh...if he hadn't left stating he wanted to play in front of big crowds and win trophies then I'd have some but he's made his bed.
Hull are by no means out of contention for both major trophies, whether JG remains part of the team remains to be seen.
