Can we talk about US v Wigan again now please?
It'll be my first trip to the Pie Dome. What's the atmos like? Where's best to park? Do they actually do good pies? 1) Crap. If we're winning after 65-70 minutes then they'll be streaming out in droves. All the noise will be from our end. 2) Big car park outside and prob hard work getting away but not sure of any streets locally where you can park up within a short walk. 3) Never eat in a rugby ground as they're all a rip off! A few local chippy's nearby tho so prob a better option.

What a night. Never been so proud to be a Salford fan. After the dross we've watched for years this is dream land! I know Wigan had lots of players out but we were nowhere near full strength ourselves so this wasn't a walkover by any means. Bring on Hulk KR, hopefully we can keep this roll going!

Evalds was my man of the match tonight. He made two crunching one on one tackles one after the other to stop certain tries near the end of the first half. Two tries as well. He has to keep his place for me.

I can't believe I'm going to say this but....I never thought it was in doubt! What we as salford fans are witnessing here (considering all the years of dross), is nothing short of amazing. our attack has to be the best in super league right now and the fact we can defend a bit, makes you wonder how far we can really go. Adam walne deserves a special mention tonight, the lads playing out of his skin as are all the team. Well done boyz, anything bar top 4 now would be an underachivment. ☝☝☝

I mentioned it on twitter but I'll say it again here...
Keeping Evalds hungry may have been a stroke of genius by Watson.

Woke up this morning feeling rough. Not got quite the same ring to it! Worth it, that performance regardless of wigans injuries was one of the best I've seen from Salford. Took our foot off the pedal a bit and they capitalised, few daft moments like playing the ball to no one, but overall really really good.

Great night and just wish I'd thrown more than a tenner on us at -3.5 on the handicap! Never thought I'd see us win at Wigan and sod their injury list, I couldn't give 2 hoots! Btw, which team fielded the most full internationals last night?
Don't like singling players out after such a great team performance but special mention to Adam Walne. Has cut out the stupid penalties, puts in some big hits and has started breaking the defensive line as well and now looks an attacking threat.
As for Niall, well WTF do we do about him and GOB? 2 great players that deserve a starting spot and just pray to god we can keep them both happy.
Finally, another superb turnout by the fans. Anyone know what the offcial away support was or how we can get hold of the figures?

Incredible night. The amount of times I have been to that souless place saying this year we will do it only to witness a massive defeat. Well this year we did it. Singing easy to those smug Wigan fans was the highlight of my night. It would not be Salford without putting panic into us during a game but they came through with ease in the end. Proud of the team and the fans last night. I see the Salford Reds arising

Adam walne deserves a special mention tonight, the lads playing out of his skin as are all the team. Well done boyz, anything bar top 4 now would be an underachivment. ☝☝☝ I agree about Adam Walne. He did long minutes last night too. After a couple of years of being almost permanently injured, he seems to be back to the form that got him into the team in the first place. We used to lose a bit of momentum when Craig Kopczak went off and Adam came on, but that no longer seems to be the case. I'd also single out Logan Tomkins. After the likes of Darren Betts, Liam Foran and Ian Sinfield, could it be that we've finally signed the right brother? Kris Welham too. He seems to make a huge number of yards whenever he has the ball. There were a couple of occasions where I think he would have been better passing, but he just seems to be so difficult to stop. One of the most enjoyable aspects of the night, though, was that the fans got behind the team rather than just chanted abuse at the opposition. I don't need to hear about the onanistic tendencies of Warrington, or how much we hate Leeds. It's infantile. Maybe the latest twisted brainwrong of a one-off man-mental has galvanised the fans a bit. I hope we take it into the rest of the season.

Last night was one of those "If Carling made Rugby Matches it would be last nights Wigan v Salford Match". Having been a Salford fan for over 40 years I've not enjoyed a game as much as that for a long time. The players played a near perfect first half and the big turnout of Reds fans were magnificent. The atmosphere in the away end was loud and supportive of the players. We never stopped singing with the team giving us lots to cheer about.
I have fond memories of our last win at Central Park 20 years ago so let's hope we don't have to wait another 20 for the next one.
Have to comment on the great Team Ethic and the boys putting their bodies on the line for the club I support. The youngsters coming in to replace injured bodies has also been a highlight of this season. I also don't like picking individuals out but Adam Walne has been impressive this year and it's great to see him realising his potential.
Great Game, Great Win and long may it continue.
