What would you prefer to see Salford in, if you could only have one this season?:
Cup final?
Or
Top 4 after the Super 8's and therefore in the Playoff Semi-Finals? |

For me a CC final win all day long.
I think the concept of the top 8 play offs is flawed as is the grand final, you finish top at the end of the regular season and that's the big prize right there, this play off lark is just contrived.
FI, if Salford finished 7th say 8 points behind the leaders they realistically couldn't get to the GF meaning they are playing for nothing but the revenue of the games which the fans don't feel there's much point in attending with nothing at stake.

Cup win for me.
I was there at the last final and the last 3 semis we've played in. and it would be wonderful if we could finally do the job. A CC win would also be huge boost for the club in terms of exposure on a national stage and a huge pull for new fans to come and support Salford.
This season seems to be our best chance in decades.

No cup final for me thanks, accidentally booked to go away that weekend. Wouldn't be able to cope with missing Salford at Wembley!!
In truth with the cup being on the Beeb a good run could do wonders for our support. I'd be happy with either but on current form could do both.

Cup final. After nearly 30 years of watching Salford, there's nothing I'd love more than to walk down Wembley Way with my Dad and Brother to watch us play in a final.

Think it would have to be a CC final for me, that would be special.
If they made it to either it would be something to behold, there would be no rugby final of late anything like it, the noise would be spine tingling.

It'd have to be a Challenge Cup final for me. But if we won the cup and you asked the question again, then I'd pick the Super League Grand Final.

Challenge cup. As a kid growing up the CC was the one and dreamt one day soon I would see us playing there. 29 years i have been following and still waiting to realise that dream. We got 'real' close once about 20 years ago and that still hurts to be within touching distance to have it snatched away.
To win the league would be amazing but the CC is the one.
