Challenge Cup Final every time. Not least of all because ever since I can remember, my dad (admittedly after several large beers on a Sunday afternoon) saying 'If Salford ever make it to Wembley again, I'm taking the whole lot of you down to London for the weekend!' (He was there in '69).
39+ years and a whole arm of the family in Western Australia later he's yet to have to make good on that bold promise. Dunno if shipping my sister over from Perth, WA would be part of the deal though. Either way, it's gonna be pricey!

Could someone wake me up: choice! (8 months ago I was worried about relegation, club closure and who we could retain if we made it to the 2017 season) CUP: simply because of the effect on joe public. Most non-RL bods are unaware of the OT game, even RU bods are aware of the Cup. Even ...

Right, seeing as almost everyone that has replied has chosen Cup final, I'll just have a quick word with Watto and let him know top 8 will do, please concentrate on the cup!!!

Not entirely related to this thread but not really worthy of one of its own: just realised United are playing Chelsea on Sunday 16th April, Easter Sunday and the day before Salford are playing Catalans. I was already looking forward to Lloret De Mar but that puts another slant on things. Could get messy (as the kids say).

Cup Final would be good, but to get to the Grand Final would mean we would win a lot of games

Actually on reflection both would be rather spiffing Dr K.
Can you imagine the look on the Docs face if he led the troops out at Wembley and the haters reaction?
See there is press saying pretty much what I said earlier that the current top 8 play offs are flawed and restrict greatly who can win and the drop in interest from fans when the games are dead rubbers.

After the trauma of the million pound game 2016, I dream of " when the games are dead rubbers".

Why choose? I want both!
However, if I can only have one, I'd generally prefer the SL Grand Final.
However no.2, it is almost impossible for me to get to the UK in October, but I am in the UK for the last week of August this year, so for this year only, I want the Wembley experience with Salford there!

We're around 20-1 for the Cup and 25-1 for the Grand final. Handy 'dreaming of it' double or cheeky each way bets! Can't find it, but I reckon we're longer odds to get relegated!
