If Tasi was any good he would still be at Saints you know that and so does everyone else if they are honest. We were 26 points behind at the break, and Wigan eased up,it was their for all to see.You agree with that dont you.We weren't expected to win Huddsfield will be with us in the bottom four according to the bookies so a must win Thursday. Following your impeccable logic, if Tasi was no good first time round, why did Saints want him?

Nobody gets in trouble with any views. You may get disagreement and counter-argument. But not trouble. The difference in this instance is that you can't argue its truth. Tasi was lazy and blowing hard. People tend to disagree with your points because often they are based on nothing but what you feel, which in most instances is nearly always negative. Nothing wrong with having a negative view on something if you can back up your opinion with more than just negativity for negativity sake, or 'feeling'. That's the idea of a forum. Discussion rather than baseless statement. You might want to try this instead of playing the martyr. You liked your own post? Okay. You said in one of your posts above that Tasi was never any good. You also said that if he was any good he'd still be at Saints. He must have been good enough while at Salford for Saints to sign him in the first place, yes? So which one is it? Just trying to gauge which angle your going with because you're all over the place at the moment...

Right I didn't think he was much good, but sometimes playing with better players you improve.Saints must have thought they could get more out of him.It seems they couldn't hence he is back with us.Surely you must agree.

Tasi was not an inspired signing for this season. Think Watto just wanted a bit of size to run the ball in, doubt he'll be here next season

Let's give him a chance eh? Before we throw him onto the scrapheap of RL after playing under eighty minutes...

Some very unfair Tasi bashing on here, you'd think he was playing on that right edge and lost us the game!

Some very unfair Tasi bashing on here, you'd think he was playing on that right edge and lost us the game! Absolutely. It was the right side defence that cost us the game in the first half. It looked to me like Josh Jones was pushed out a bit wider in the second half to plug that gap. Unfortunately, some people just need a scapegoat and it looks like for this season the role of Stuart Howarth is being played by Lama Tasi. The idea that Saints sign players that "aren't good enough" for struggling clubs in the hope that somehow having better players around them will turn them into world beaters belongs in the same place as ideas about non-spherical planetary structures. In his first season, his average gain was just 0.05 metres less than Adrian Morley's, and he missed proportionately fewer tackles, made more tackle busts and fewer errors. And yet Morley is a "legend". I suspect that is what persuaded Saints to sign him. Second season, fair enough, he was a bit pants.

Funnies just funny. I always liked Tasi, as I said before think if he concentrated more on a solid tackle rather than snapping someone in half his first season figures would have been even better. Think Saturday he wasn't hitting the ball at the right pace, as I mentioned though when the forwards are latching onto that miracle inside drop off and everybody on this spherical orbiting planet knows it's coming making more than rudimentary yards is tricky. Kopczak, Mossop, Tasi, Griffin, Krasniqi, Walne and Murray are a very decent options in the front row and all the right age too.

After watching those highlights I'm surprised we've not read that Johnson has signed for Wigan, that was shocking right edge defence. Junior lad get that mop sorted

Looks like Wigan have got away with the high shot on Sa'u. What a surprise.
"Following round one of Betfred Super League, the Match Review Panel have issued three charges:
Albert Kelly (Hull FC) - Grade B High Tackle (EGP available) Paul McShane (Castleford) - Grade B Dangerous Throw (EGP available) Benjamin Garcia (Catalans) - Grade A Dangerous Throw (EGP available)
The following two players were issued with cautions:
Liam Watts (Hull FC) - Dangerous Contact Eloi Pelissier (Leigh) - Dangerous Contact".
