If he could bring Bienek with him that would be great.

Looks like Hastings is being paid out of his Newcastle contract. We need to get rid of a quota player 😂

If Newcastle want him off the books he could come to us and they could pay half his wages .

He’s going to have to take a massive pay cut if he comes back to SL. Marquee players are allowed upto a max 150k on the cap so even if Newcastle pay half he’d be hugely out of pocket. However Wigan have proven in the past you can overcome this and get away with it.

Er although he should come back, it's a wasted rumour because our allotment is complete isn't it? Also I have this vision of Sneyd and Jacko arguing the toss about control of the game and in any case which position would he play? Certainly not on the bench!
And he's yet another example who's looked half as good since he left!

The only way he’d come here is to replace Sneyd when he retires and Jacko nearing retirement, but then his link Bleasy is at Leeds

Yeah wasted rumour
The Rhinos would seem a safer bet.

Jacko since leaving us has never been allowed to play his game, he has also not fully recovered from the bad injury he sustained, a fully fit Hastings is still a force to be used within the game. He is 29.

I think we need to accept the Hastings ship has sailed. A great player without doubt but three years is a very long time in Rugby and he will never be the player he was during that magical spell.
