I did wonder about this when I read the article as it doesn't seem to say where he's going.
He's definitely worth a look and would bring down the age of the squad a bit, and seems to have all the right attributes etc

He captained every team he played for at Saints and he wasn’t made available last season

Captained all academy teams as well as the reserves. Also doing a degree so sounds like a pretty decent human being to bring into the playing squad to boot

Can’t see us going for Royle, he’s similar to Foster in size, do we need more 2nd rows?? We have an option on Foster for another year and he’s hardly played. We need a Prop and a Winger we can develop.

Not sure I've seen anything of foster to suggest he deserves a deal for next year.

Think Wright Wilson and Shorrocks will cover 13 and Wright 8 and 10
Wilson not a second row and remember Watkins will be 34 and won’t play every game next year….and Royle a leader
