I don’t get this need to know how long players are out for. The squad announcement pretty much confirms if someone is or isn’t fit (especially a squad of our size)

The squad announcement pretty much confirms if someone is or isn’t fit (especially a squad of our size) I would say that fan engagement means, as much as anything else, keeping your fan base informed/connected. It's not necessarily that fans need to know but mustn't feel left out!

This is less a rumour story, but once revenues improve I’d expect SRD to employ media officers in both dealing with the press and online content,.
I hear Jake Biddy is being shuffled out at Huddersfield. Imo it’s a bit of a curse ex reds moving there. Aside from Biddy, Tui seems to be more ‘bulkier” each season, Yates looks miserable, and Harvey Livett (remember him?) is invisible as Nessie or a Tory after the election.

Agree with Russ. It's simply keeping fans informed about things they are interested in. As a fan I want to know how the players are. If they are out, I'd like to know how long for,.what their injury is, abd when it happened. This week Singleton and Hank aren't in the squad. I think that was a shock to many and we still don't know the how, when, or where.
When the post squad post goes out on X and the squad is posed on the website, it really wouldn't be difficult to add a few sentences to say there is no Singleton or Hank this week due to 'X" It's basic and we don't need a new media officesr for that. It takes seconds to add it to existing information.

Sadly there'll plenty of very visible Tories after the election in the government!

From what I can see the most likely destination for Hoy may be the Championship.
It's hard to see London signing him.

Hopefully it’ll be just rumours but he is the obvious choice for any so called big team which is struggling although out of them all Hull is the least attractive- probably have to move over there etc

The way Rowley has been let down, having to to keep building new teams, letting his best players go and working with little money easily gives him a reason
But Hull seems strange Why would he want to work under Myler; he’s forgotten more than Myler knows Why would he uproot to Hull; a Leigh lad who support's Bolton living in a lovely part of Worsley, Why would he put his family thro it; children’s education, friends etc
Money, challenge, feeling of the Club living on empty promises, relationships within the Club

He has to think it through. King`s cost cutting though will be a major factor. Personally feel they should offer him a 5 year extension and a huge budget depending of course whether the Ground deal will be completed. Has Paul King the ambition for this club I wonder? Let`s hope so.
