I’m not a fan of relying on the good will of bigger clubs to get a player in a 2 week loan but that’s the position we are in- broke. But realistically with sio and burgess potentially gerrard going we should have money available to make signings If we are not in for Towse we should be www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuopPycQCu8 Players like this do not cost the earth and as Abbas Miski has shown Wingers can make a step into Super League Quickly. Salford 1963 your close to the club any news on this player or indeed a Winger? I agree he’s young fast, not small either and seems like a natural talent definitely someone we should look at, as for props I like Dan okoro at Bradford

Catalans don't have over thirty and those that have that many are terrified of being found wanting.
So if SL said all clubs should have the same size squads they would make the league completely competitive from top to bottom in one easy move, I can't imagine why they haven't done it, can you?
Catalans have a reserve side the play in a competitive comp and a good u19s we have 24 plays that’s it. You really can’t think that’s enough, there’s a good reason every other club has got a bigger squad Although I love french RL your description of where the reserve side play stretches the imagination a bit.
I thought we had a reserve side and if it's not in a competitive league that won't be SRD's fault.
I never said the number we have is enough but I do think the panic needs calming down slightly; but the truth is whilst we have an imbalance between squads we won't have a truly competitive league. I think that's why the inequality is maintained, defended and never argued against.

The french league is by far better than the reserve league which is just a tick box exercise for nearly all the clubs, particularly the rfl fault. The key here is apparently we are way down on st which really isn’t great but I didn’t expect any different with the out goings and lack of incomings. From the outside seems like we’re just getting through this year which we might be with the new img rules. But don’t expect crowds to go up🤷♂️

The rest of what you said in your post sounds like a recipe for disaster, a holding pattern of negativity and low expectation. If STs are down it's hardly surprising if that's the best we can hope for!
So the club are using the website & social media for positive stories which barely gets a mention here. Then again it's quite clear that the social media footprint is high on the list of IMG demands and on this very forum this was dismissed as unimportant and useless.
I no longer know if it's the club that have low epectations or the whole fan base but with nothing to look forward to and the repetition of of these ideas again and again and again, it's amazing if any of us will bother to turn up at all, never mind buy an ST!

It’s kinda understandable though not spending money with no relegation this year but it takes away an aspect of the game. Big thing for us is getting money so we can sign better players and get more st which will make more money. It’s just getting the ball rolling which is proving to be a issue

I know that P&R is essentially on the way out but if clubs are found wanting in key areas: financially, Fan engagement, crowd numbers, media footprint and stadium facilities surely then any club will be in danger of being removed though I'm not sure how the process will work or what evidence may be used for the decision.

Yes and as it stands we’re safe but I’d assume that depends on the stadium . Unfortunately London will go down without a ball kicked as the ranked about 20th? Which is why they’ve not really signed any sl players. In the long run i think this will improve the league but short term takes away the “sport”

Under the new system I think it will be harder to get into SL than winning promotion.
I don't think it will improve the sport it will just confirm and maintain those at the top table forever.

Interesting news coming out of Oz suggesting Peter Hola rejected two SL Clubs, assumed to be us and London. Are we in for Aaron Pene? If Wire wanted him they'd sign him as money is no object there it seems. The off field stuff like the Open Day and Season Launch is great but Blease needs to come good with some players to sign otherwise we're in trouble when injuries hit. Salford 1963 has your pal King said anything about AJ Towse? I think Mr Millward also mentioned Dan Okoro from the Bulls, he is an exciting prospect at Prop.
We need action, no doubt the Trafford Centre Sponsorship is money in and a platform on Saturday. With Burgess and Sio off of the books we must have some spare monies even if it is to sign youngsters.

I cannot see us using a quota spot on a Winger we are desperate for a Prop.

Lacking depth ......? We've got more backs than we can fit on the pitch at any one time and at least three of them can play multiple positions!
