First and foremost it's a rumour and no one in the wider world will ever know about it. To be embarassing other people would have to notice either in the RL family ( little joke by me there) or the rest of the world at large. Now because it's not one of the percieved top clubs the RL "family" ("Oops, I did it again!") will make up bad rumours/news and beyond that nobody cares what happens in RL. Being embarassed by something no one cares about is a bit of a waste of time. Regardless it’s not a good look and not very enticing for players if true

I’m just looking at it from a rugby perspective to push the top end of the league we need grunt up front, I’d love a big cup run this year If everyone's fit we do have grunt though it's always nice to have a surplus for the hardest work in RL.
We'd all love a cup run cm but the amount of luck needed for that to happen beggars belief!
In my opinion we have one of the worst packs in the league are sr is good decent options at 13 but prop is really poor

The RL family has proven to be the disagreeable uncle who turns up uninvited to Christmas dinner and if anyone cares what they or the outside world think, maybe we need to get over ourselves a bit, eh?

I think our pack has some real talent in it and lots of options and I also think alot of the percieved problems with the pack had more to do with the ball being lost in play far too often putting our forwards and defence generally under pressure for far too much of the time.
I also think some of SRD's tactical choices around one out footy lacked imagination, asked no questions and tired out the grunt that was available last time out.
It may be that the grunt we do have at present proves inadequate this season but that has yet to be shown.

Speaking to people at the club they no we are desperate for a prop we only have king who makes an impact and he’s hot and cold, singo is a grafter. Ormondroyd well he can’t play like last season and sidlow well he’s already injured again. Yes we can put people at prop like wright but they don’t have the size do it all season

I have spoken to my pal in Yorkshire, he thinks we are trying to sign AJ Towse from York, just said a Lancs SL club were keen on him and had enquired. Do we have any more on the links to AJ Towse? He is a player (Winger) I'd take a punt on. Having seen the news Canberra papers are reporting Peter Hola turning down a Super League move. I assume that was us or London as Leigh have given Big Ben a shirt, Wire do not need him. We need to start signing players ASAP, 24 is not enough.

I agree and when you look most teams have over 30 now a lot of injuries and suspension with the new rules.

Catalans don't have over thirty and those that have that many are terrified of being found wanting.
So if SL said all clubs should have the same size squads they would make the league completely competitive from top to bottom in one easy move, I can't imagine why they haven't done it, can you?

Catalans have a reserve side the play in a competitive comp and a good u19s we have 24 plays that’s it. You really can’t think that’s enough, there’s a good reason every other club has got a bigger squad

With the 6again rules it’s proven injury is more likely due to fatigue which is why nearly every team are building larger squad obviously we don’t have the money but only have 24 is looking for trouble. Bear in mind we already have a few lads with injuries/ niggles

Personally I think they will prudently use the loan market once the season starts as those clubs with 30 plus players will have at least 13 players available each and every week once the season starts with a huge pool of players wanting first team football. They have proved to be shrewd in the past and I for one trust them. Remember using the loan system doesn't tie up CAPITAL which is a huge point in our financial position.

That depends we couldn’t afford to loan players last season could we. Aslo if that’s are plan that’s fine but fans shouldn’t expect to be competitive should they. This stadium deal needs sorting soon

But realistically with sio and burgess potentially gerrard going we should have money available to make signings

Salford 1963 your close to the club any news on this player or indeed a Winger?

Early Bath you are right, Blease/King have made some great signings and I like this years additions compared to last season. However to Mr Millwards point you'd expect funds to be diverted to making signings. A new Prop and a winger is a priority for this club. They seem to be slow in acting although the RFL Special Measures might mean we cannot sign anyone right now.
