Reading between the lines and looking at the evidence we must be skint otherwise we would have replaced all the losses and signed 5 more, I wouldn’t waste my time speculating on who we can/will sign….we are like the defenders of Rourke’s Drift……we are here because we are here there’s nobody else.

That might be the case and we may not be able to afford Peter Hola but we now have Joe Burgess and Ken Sio off the books for different reasons. I cannot see us not singing a Prop and a Back before the season starts given our lack of depth. It was late Jan when we signed Lafai and look how that turned out. Matt Shaw has got hold of the story around Hola so some club is enquiring. |

Their wages should make a signing possible.
I'm not altogether sure that the constant push for signings isn't based on a negative outlook though which is to be expected given the past year.

I’m just looking at it from a rugby perspective to push the top end of the league we need grunt up front, I’d love a big cup run this year |

I have spoken to my pal in Yorkshire, he thinks we are trying to sign AJ Towse from York, just said a Lancs SL club were keen on him and had enquired.

He signed a new deal with York not so long ago, I know that doesn't count for much these days as we well and truly know! It's not wingers we are desperate for its prop forwards! |

First and foremost it's a rumour and no one in the wider world will ever know about it. To be embarassing other people would have to notice either in the RL family ( little joke by me there) or the rest of the world at large.
Now because it's not one of the percieved top clubs the RL "family" ("Oops, I did it again!") will make up bad rumours/news and beyond that nobody cares what happens in RL.
Being embarassed by something no one cares about is a bit of a waste of time.

We'd all love a cup run cm but the amount of luck needed for that to happen beggars belief!
