We won’t be signing anyone only loan deals for us I’m afraid we have no money,until more season tickets are bought the squad is what it is so as more season ticket sales are not likely the squad is what we will run with chance of yaha maybe the Wigan props hill etc then only other one is partington in a swap deal with Warrington!

I imagine he'd been more expensive that short term loan options (like on of the 10 props that Wigan have, they've collected them like they are pies 🥧) whole we await our stadium fate. The minimum wage in the NRL equates to around 63k. So you'd assume that'd likely be the minimum contract they'd accept, unless they couldn't get a gig in Oz at all. |

You need £££s before you can get players unless you’re going to offer to fund the purchase of the players yourself and the club will pay you back once we’ve sold enough season tickets. There's a moral there somewhere but for the life of me!
We have to face the fact we're in deep doodoo and there's little chance things will improve quickly enough for demotivated fans to change their minds or to save us from a relegation battle this season.
Apart from actual relegation that's as depressing as it gets in sporting terms.

You back your team regardless. Feel free to disagree but those 'fans" waiting to see if we start the season well before they buy aren't proper fans IMO. You can bet they'll be the first to be mouthing off on social media from their armchairs though when things ain't going well...🙄 Everyone in Salford knows our financial situation/stadium situation/possibility of matched funding etc. People sitting on their arses at home or in the pub watching games doesn't help us one bit. |
