We'd be insane to sign Olpherts. He's tried and tested at SL level and been found wanting. I'd rather take a punt on a player who hasn't had an opportunity yet... Or Niall Evalds, who Burgess will be replacing in the starting lineup. I doubt Hill KR would be looking to release anyone though as they've put together a quality squad for this season. Still, they must need to shuffle some cards down the road as they've only signed him on a one year deal.

If we do not sell more Season Tickets we will not be signing anyone in the Short Term. We need more cashflow into sign additional players it is as simple as that. If we do increase sales then Corey Hall, Olpherts and QQ from Cas will be considered.

No point signing anyone yet until things are up and running, we have macdonald and Ryan as starting wingers so am happy with that. If we need anything during the season then we can then take our time and get the right player, rather than rushing into it to fill a hole that isn't there yet.

I was responding to him saying we need more st I’ve got mine but clearly most of are fans are not happy as we’re well under are normal sales.

Are wingers are fine but I disagree think the squad is bottom 4/5 which is ok for where we are at as a club

In fairness the club can have no complaints lots of people raised lots of money through the share scheme to be told this will really help them saw our 3best players sold even though club came out and said we’re no longer a selling club people are not going to buy season tickets off false promises as a lot feel they got burnt by the share scheme!we are where we are no communication from club regarding are we or not still in special measures will be signing any more just nothing and only 5weeks till season,so people are not going to buy when there is a lack of positivity!

You also need to remember the cost of living rises we have seen since this time last year and the people who can no longer afford one.

Shall we shut up show now then, yes the positivity of the community fund initiative has been lost somewhat by the sale of 2 players necessary to survive after funding cuts but ultimately we still have a Club in Super League. I am with Kilop, I am looking forward to the start of a new season. It seems especially on Social Media these days lots of fans feel entitled to have thieir say in the running of the Club. I'm sure Paul King with his personal exposure which keeps us afloat more than anyone would gladly swap places with those fans who seem to think they know better. The least I can do is buy my Season Ticket and keep my glass half full.

I said as soon as we were forced to sell players are crowds will drop and with st sales they have. Not sure what the club can do really though

I think there is an issue with realism - as previously said , if any sporting club whether that’s football , cricket , union sell arguably their best 3 players then one leaves in compassionate grounds and then another leaves after a disciplinary investigation then there will be an air of pessimism which is understandable
I understand the people who haven’t bought tickets as money is tight and with all games televised I get it , we’ve still bought 4 despite only 3 of us going but each to their own
The product is the team so maybe some are good to see how it performs first before committing to season tickets - if there were people on the fence then losing Croft , Ackers , Sio and Burgess might have put them off which again is understandable
