I get that Redrum but wouldn't it be nice to lose a player on our terms for a change? I know this is partially our terms as we get a good fee for Brodie but when we get Aussies like Jacko & Brodie (who both should be playing NRL) I'd love nothing more than to enjoy seeing their talents for 2/3 seasons and then see them rewarded with a contract back home. It hurts to see them in another SL team's colours and Jacko wasn't half the player he was at Wigan that he was at Salford as he seemed to be reined in.
They both bought into Salford massively and I'd like to think that when they hang their boots up Salford will always be "their" English club. Wigan and Leeds are just benefitting from our misfortune and I think that's what really pisses us off as fans. Leeds fans claiming GH has pulled off a masterstroke is hilarious, as though he's some sort of genius for having piles of cash in his pocket.
Anyway, let's hope this young Aussie HB replacement being mooted has a similar affect in a Salford shirt and that when we play Leeds this season we manage to keep Brodie quiet whilst also showing him our appreciation for the past 2 seasons.

Can’t believe the melt down over two players. They will be replaced and we move on. I thought our standard of play last year in attack was poor generally, I’m certain Rowley will have expected better output, in fact he spoke about our execution.

This season are go forward just wasn’t there which I’d say was down to are pack never being in the front foot. Doesn’t matter which half we get in we need some props with go forward hopefully we have some |

I’m quietly confident that if we keep what we’ve got and add a bit of quality we will go ok next season. Yes it’s not ideal to lose your 6 and 9, but we’ve lost them early enough to get replacements in. The old Salford would have sold them a week before the new season started . Keep the faith.

Absolutely. And if they hadn't been signed on long term contracts, they would have gone for nothing. Good business I say. And a new team to support next season.
