Good solid signing this…I assume he’ll play at 6 so we need to tie down a good 9 now and Powell fits the bill for me if it’s to be him👹👹👹

Didnt pull up any trees at Wigan but was very highly rated at Manly. Presume that he will be at 6 with Sneyd but does give additional cover for 9. Starting to wonder if Atkin will be starting 9 with more game time given to Bourouh from the bench.

Cuat looked much better at 9 than as a 6 while at Wigan. Can't say I'm a fan of this signing and it's a quota spot too. I hope we still sign a 6 and Cust plays 9.

Thats all of our quota spots gone now with Sio, Lafai, Cust, King, Stone, Wright and Macdonald. Cant think of a non quote 6 who we can realistically bring in. Possibly Hampshire as a utility but thats its. Cust was highly rated at Manly alongside Cherry-Evans so will reserve judgement.

Of the seemingly numerous Wiganers linked to Solly, Cust was possibly the least likely I'd imagined arriving.
If it does happen, then at least we won't be seeing Ryan Brierley at half back.
And Crust being cheaper, that debt is nearer being paid off. Erm.

He was great at Wigan in his first season winning the challenge cup final and playing very well in that game. He’s not as flashy as Croft obviously but he’s got a neat kicking game and despite the comments of his running ability it was getting quite good at Wigan. He was only kept out by the man of steel himself so it’s not like he lost his place to a terrible player

I am not a Cust fan based on last season but he was injured. To avoid upsetting the 'Rowley Lovers' in the group I'll 100% back his judgement and give the player a chance as all fans should. So if Rowley and Blease want him so be it.

Rowley and Blease don’t have much choice at this stage of the year WD, no time little money, bargain basement…but I’m sure Rowley and the team will polish him up

Yep it’s up to Rowley and the coaching squad to start again with a new structure to get the team going to pull in the crowds…must be made of grit

Speaking to a couple of wigan fans they seem to suggest decent solid player, not flashy but good. Wouldn’t have been top of the list of course, but let’s give him a chance. Also Powell has a few offers on the table from Yorkshire teams as well but wants to stay closer to home so sounds like we could be in with a shout there.
