It is Leeds Live claiming Ackers is a Leeds player so I will believe it when I read it or Leeds announce it. The Croft deal is still unresolved then there is the Partington fee/swap which seems unlikely to happen. If these sales go through I want to know what the fee's are and what's been back filled. The Dupree monies were never discussed in terms of there use, at the owners meeting in August we were told monies were available to bring in new players. If Croft goes and covers 300k of funding deficit what are the other players being sold for, its right the club explains the logic behind their actions.

From what we can gather MTR…from bits of information around
The Club in its 2023 Business Plan was identified to bring in between £1,5 to £2m via Shares Option (£1m so £640k short, not a success then), increased attendance (achieved, I think) and hospitality ( apparently the Club got zero); it seems in reality Club was down about £1m on the Plan
In addition £2-300k down from RFL etc and a 2022/3 £600k loss
So Dupree £200k, Shares £340, Season tickets so far £150k
Possibly now Croft 250k?(unless Leeds can’t do a deal) , Ackers 200k?, Partington?? Plus biggish money off the wages bill
As you have said the Club needs to be transparent to its Shareholders, not just blaming everything on the amount lost by Sky etc..where’s the contingency planning/ funding Why the hiatus a few months ago that we’re spending to the limit for players??
Think we need a bit of Rowleyism…openness, straight talking and honesty mate. And this isn’t trying to have a go at anybody but merely, like MTR, trying to understand what’s going on as a season ticket holder for next year and a shareholder

Sure McDonald is looking at the club regretting his decision. Probably sold this time next year and won’t be playing with the players he thought

Think McDonald was signed prior to all this being revealed
Presumably Rowley and Blease have now got to work miracles again finding the right players at the right price when most are signed up, then turning them into another team for yet another season of survival…it’s bad reading for us….but they have to deliver
Like a game of Snakes n Ladders, without the Ladders

This is probably as low as I’ve felt for a while knowing our top 5 earners are on the way out , so don’t expect Ackers to be the last

Selling your best players is just a rout to lower crowds and eventually the champ which I don’t think we’d return from. It’s like a death from a thousand cuts

Not going be good for next season, but as I've always said whatever team we have left and turn out on the field, they need supporting, we will go into every game as an underdog, let's take it and enjoy the ride

It seems like a wicked cycle at Salford. We have a workman like unit with so called ‘average’ players and do very well with them and get to finals etc and reap the financial awards that comes with that. We then spend big on players on massive contracts then realise the money we spend is the money we need to survive and then the inevitable fire sale happens. I think as fans we need to accept that with the current ownership model we’re a championship club in super league.

And I thought it was depressing being sat in the Wigan end at the GF on Saturday.... feck me, it was like a ray of bleedin' sunshine compared to this forum.😂
I'd rather the club just released the 27 players that are leaving so you lot can finally get your blood pressure down. Christ knows how you all sleep at night!😁

Even with img grades we will be on the edge
