Looks like the Croft deal is done just had to sort some stuff in his contract regards nrl clauses believe that’s done now,hearing a200,000 fee certainly not anymore!it’s just a catch 22 really the club needs money to pay bills but without a good squad attendance will drop hence less money and even maybe championship rugby which really would be the end!

Well if Austin is a done deal it can only be McDonald or Kennedy whose just been let go by hull kr coming in,unless lafai is leaving to which I have heard murmuring about!

There about 20 but Austin is already over here so it’s easier for the club I am with BDB, Austin at 33 is not the answer, we have cover with Atkin but ultimately there are other options out there. 200k for Croft is a steal though I do not believe what I read in the RL Press. If we sell Croft, then Partington goes (Though I doubt this will happen) as an Owner I want to know what the Dupree fee was used for. |

Presumably if Austin comes he’ll only be here for a year…all this has been thrown on Rowley and Blease at effectively the last minute…so with Austin they can take a breather and plan for next year.
On his day Austin can be a world beater; not sure what floats his boat but, if Rowley stays he can certainly get the best out of players. To me he’s like a more mature Hastings…who with Sneyd and Austin out at the end of 2024 might be ready to return😉

Blake Austin is not terrible. He’s had some amazing performances
And it may be a case of poor management.

I think the you're spot on about SRD/Leeds and Matt Shaw but he hardly stands out in the crowd for this kind of thing. In terms of punditry you wouldn't recognise him anywhere, he could have been anyone in the police line up. |
