Yeah, he's played pretty well this season. Looks like the possibility of Kennedy and Ryan coming over from HKR. Two players who will certainly strengthen our team.

They would do but it means nothing if we end up flogging Croft, Leeds in for him now saying that imagine a lot of clubs will be looking at are players now

Wouldn’t be surprised if he does go although fee would have to be substantial

Leeds put in a bid for Croft, Uncle Gary is desperate he's disliked by most of the South Stand. I know we have lost 100k this year like all clubs because the RFL are a bunch of useless bastards and have cocked up the funding. RFL will cut funding into 2024 also. Selling Croft will be a bitter pill if that comes to pass however I am of the opinion we need to cash in when the time is right.

Anyone just got the owners newsletter? Does not look good - I feel a Sale coming on. 300k down in RFL funding over the next two years, Food and Drink profits not passed on to the club. The club is now forced to review playing personnel due to a shortfall of funds. I'd suggest Brodie will be sold, looks like we have no choice thanks to those RFL ****s. Time for the Diva JJR to give us his view..... For the record I do not see the club has much choice.

Yeah it's a fairly reserved letter, but plenty of information given which is what we all seem to want. We all know Croft is going at some point, but hopefully when he does there's a decent fee involved.

If Kennedy does sign he might want to update his LinkedIn as he's still a Broncos player according to his profile. Although TBF to the lad who'd want to admit to having a job in Hull?😁

If Croft is sold: 1) SRD are on the way down 2) SRD are a selling club 3) being a Community Club is a failure 4) There is nothing positive to be made out of this 5) All the top clubs in panic because this season was the way things should be.
Good job I enjoy Championshio rugby hope you all do! I know some will make out this is an over reaction and though I'll still be a fan it's fairly obvious that it's not just the loss of a player but a lack of ambition or an inability to realise ambition by keeping hold of players that make that difference is basically giving up by any other name.

I think the club is doing everything to hold onto players, but at the end of day if the people of Salford don't come and watch they're limited to what they can do. What else would you like them to do? Hold family members hostage?

And Number six was IMG are proving to be a one legged man or a chocolate teapot.

Questions definitely need to be asked as to where the funds that we’ve raised through sale of players and fundraising. People have took out literal credit agreements potentially impacting their future financial health to fund the club yet it’s all seem to have disappeared into a black hole.

I think it’s clear the club doesn’t generate revenue to meet its costs. That’s why it makes me laugh when people say why aren’t we using Dupree money, Croft money on signing x y z - largely because I think it’s going on the costs of operating the club.

That’s not the best but I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t come out and just say that? I’d rather them be seen as desperate then deceptive

What else would you like them to do? Hold family members hostage? 1) realism 2) not being new does not make it true. 3) if you need this pointing out it would be pointless to illustrate 4) it's not just a matter of how I feel. 5) er?
I'm not sure they can be doing all they can as the Dupree saga was ample evidence Croft would be a whole other level and if as a club we're that limited maybe we have no right to be in SL at all.
Good discussion Carney BTW!
