Naquaima would be a pretty strong signing. I agree though, would be hard to displace either of our wingers at the moment. Naquaima is a step up in class again though.

Isn't Carney on loan to KR until the end of the season, surely they won't be paying his full salary and we must still be contributing, does that still count on our cap?

Carney has signed a contract with Hull KR until the end of 2018 so it will be a permanent move. Apparently it is subject to him getting a new visa so I wonder if this is why Salford are holding off until it's finalised.

Rumours are that Savelio isn't being retained by Wire. Not sure what has happened to him over the past 12-18 months as thought he looked a cracking prospect at Saints. Worth a punt for next season if he becomes available? Obvious Salford links tbrough his dad, young, dynamic.... sort of player who would appear to fit nicely within the current team ethos. Thoughts?

His defence has been woeful at times this season. Like you say, he's gone off the boil in the last 12 months but perhaps it's just a blip. I'm not sure if he would make it in to our team the way we are playing right now.

I'm not sure if he would make it in to our team the way we are playing right now. Maybe not, but his defence can definitely be worked on. He's 22 years old, 17 1/2 stone and undoubtedly has a bit to prove. Assuming his wages wouldn't be that high, would he be worth a punt rather than, say, Hasson? No idea if his signing is a short-term fix until the end of the season but maybe offer Savelio a 1 year deal with view to an extension if he progresses? Let's be honest, some of those Wire players yesterday have played international rugby and they looked bang average at best. Maybe he's suffered as a result of the general malaise around the HJ and a change of scenery will flick a switch with him. I think we'd all written Adam Walne off at the start of the season but he was absolutely flying before he got injured. Logan as well.... unconvincing at best last season but has been great this year. The Watto factor by any chance?

I think a lot depends on what Mossop's long term fitness is like, if his shoulders are gone a front row replacement for him is paramount not another back rower.

Agreed and would be happy to see him playing for Manchester next season (couldn't resist) but I'd rather go for Tom Johnson from Wakefield, would cost a fee but you would be buying a future England international and already class player.

I've never even heard of him. Oh wait the penny has just dropped!!! This is so unfair, I thought we were going to go large.
